Hello great review these look great. Deciding between these and the lg tone free fp5 cuz I found the evos for 90 bucks. The fp5’s are extremely comfortable to me and I value comfort highly as I will be having them in for long periods of time but the ANC is terrible and sound is alright. Do you think the Evo’s are comfortable enough? Anyways, would really appreciate your input !

But the Evo’s would have voided warranty so if there is any manufacturing defects im out of luck

Thanks! So I don’t think ‘comfort’ is necessarily the issue, but the ‘fit’ might be. The Evos definitely don’t stay as securely in place in the ear, at least for me anyway. I need to readjust them multiple times whilst listening. Whereas the FP5s, once you’ve put them in they’re comfortable and stay in place the whole time. So I’d maybe stick with those (especially if there’s no warranty for the Evo!)

@@insidetechltd Great thanks for the advice I just ordered the Evo’s before I saw your comment and they come with a 3 month warranty from the seller. But honestly its more of just pressure points in my ear and the feeling of congestion that make me not able to wear them for more than an hour, usually security is not a problem at all with any earbuds. Just more about pressure points, heat, and congestion so hopefully those arent too much of a problem with the evos.

Yes that’s right. I’ve been testing it today and yesterday and it’s a nice addition, but doesn’t drastically change my view on the earbuds. Couple of issues still remain as well but I’m going to address those in a community post as soon as I get a response back from 1MORE about them

Thanks for the video, you should have a look at two devices. 1. 1more comfobuds mini a tiny tws form 1more 2. Motorola G82, its £220, has headphone jack, fm radio, sd card and dual stereo spekers.

There is currently an option to choose all kinds of equalizers in the application, such as classic pop, etc., but the option to adjust as you want does not work. What do you think? Is it enough that it does work to change your mind about their quality?

No that's not enough to change my mind - they still sound excellent in their default settings though!

Sorry, it was my mistake. There is now a real equalizer. It just didn't work for me, but it worked out and now I really have an equalizer. I would send you a screenshot but it's not possible here. So what do you think in this case?

No that's my fault, I just went back and listened to what I said about these before in the review. The custom EQ does change my overall opinion, because I said this was a big reason to get the soundcore L3P instead - but not anymore. Now you can make the EVO tuned to your own liking too, so that's a big selling point. The EQ is actually a lot better than your typical 3-band or 5-band EQ and gives lots of control. The app is a bit more stable now too, which also helps - so in general the software updates have improved my opinion on these earbuds. *Also, 1More EVO did really well in the 2023 earbuds awards!

Did u use Android phone and choose ldac 990kps or 606kps under developer option ? Because Android phone may automatic choose the lowest 330kps ldac mode. Thanks

Yes - I always check this with every LDAC pair of earbuds. I always find that forcing the higher transfer rate gives an unstable connection though, so I typically just listen in the default LDAC mode

@@insidetechltd Oh no!!! YOU MUST use the highest setting, otherwise it’s pointless and you can’t compare buds.. Simply turn on the phones performance mode. On Samsung it’s called enhanced processing in the quick toggle’s.

Seems like a bit of an unnecessary response 🤔 I literally said that I did test the highest transfer rate. I always test this out for earbuds before making a review. I just personally use lower transfer rates for my own use. Not really sure what the issue is…
