Baked potatoes for lunch today and they were without a doubt the best jacket potatoes I’ve had. Thank you for the tip 😊

Love the video. My only issue is I want the skins really crispy. So I tend to microwave for 8 minutes turning once. The spray some oil on and add salt. Then air fry for 30-40 mins at 200 turning once also. Perfect buttery fluffy insides and lovely crispy skin. But I like the skin to dry out and be crispy. I guess I’m weird like that!

Great to see you using the foodi again. Can't wait to try this.

Cheers thanks 😊

It's just something I've always done since working in kitchens as it reflects the heat back more. That's it 🤣

Going to try the way you done it, also my toppings are cheese, ham and tomato

Nice 🙂 I've never put those toppings together for a potato 🥔 before. Many times as a sandwich 🥪 😁

Love loaded potatoes, my fav toppings are fried onions, bacon bits, obviously cheese, coleslaw and sour cream.

Like one of the other comments on here I prefer to microwave and air-fry .... same results just takes less time.... but this is better if you want to have a less hands on (set it and forget it) method .... I have the same model foodi as you, was gutted when I got mine as I immediately realised they have disabled the sous vide option for the UK model of it. (The US version, which is mechanically and digital identically manufactured, has the sous vide option enabled in firmware). as always loving the content, keep it coming fella :D

Cheers thanks so much for watching and commenting, yes I agree with you on the sous vide. A big oversight from Ninja UK.

Prefer the skins more crispy, so I suppose I could remove the foil for the last 10 mins or so? And oil and salt them first
@1Pizza2Many6 ай бұрын
Yep could definitely do that, then switch to air fry at 200 degrees to crisp them up. 😃👍

How long would you do sweet Potatoes time and temp. For me it has to be not butter, cheese, hot beans, then coleslaw.
@1Pizza2Many6 ай бұрын
I'd go for 45-60 mins for sweet potato on same settings 🙂👍

I have a log burner and do mine in that,in this it would use too much electric for me
@1Pizza2Many6 ай бұрын
Yep log burners work great too for spuds... I'm just showing how it can be done in the Ninja. 👍🙂

Any reason for shiny side in with the foil? I've always used shiny side out, most of the non stick foil has the non stick on the mat side
@Balllsy6 ай бұрын
Shiny side towards the food to reflect heat. If it was facing away it would reflect heat away from food. Always shiny side in!

Shiny side in with the foil? It makes no difference at all which side is in. Read up on it.
