Just cooked the two chickens as portrayed on the video and they were delicious! Definitely the best ever. Thanks for taking the time to comment. If you tried to take all of the feather shafts out then you would end up riping the skin too much and you need the skin to protect it when air frying. 👍🏻😃 Good luck with your upcoming purchase.

@mishafrog87863 жыл бұрын
Bigest bonus of this ninja airfryer is zero pong in the kitchen even cooking fish the stink is near nill , which means your kitchen stays cleaner than an ordinary oven , good practice just when you take out whatever you have cooked is washing up fairy plus two inch s of hot water then after you have eaten everything, it takes two mins each drawer to clean up its so easy. Not sure why you demo cooks think its a good idea to use metal forks and tongs but dont , long term you will damage the drawer finish however careful you are it only needs one x scratch.

Ok. Couple of things I found. I brined the chicken for about 4 hrs yesterday in 4 pints water, half a cup of salt and half a cup of sugar, thyme, peppercorns and bay leaves. Before I put the chicken in the fryer on air fry I dried it thoroughly with kitchen paper. I put the bird into the air fryer from the fridge. Next time I think I will leave it for 30 minutes or so before cooking it so that the meat is not cold. 400 deg c was a little too hot. My bird was marginally larger than yours although it fitted nicely into the fryer pan. I started it on 400f (my fryer is from the other side of the pond) but noticed after 15 minutes or so that it was cooking a touch too quickly, so I reduced the temperature to 390f (which is the default setting) and turned the bird over. I left it for another 20 minutes to finish and it looked and smelled amazing. The internal temperature was up at 173c but it didn’t look overcooked or dry. I think the brining was my saviour here. The breast meat was juicy and succulent. I didn’t think I would be brave enough to try a whole chicken, but honestly I appreciate your tutorial because it gave me the courage to give it a go. I will be more active with my instant read thermometer next time (the phone went on me) but honestly I give this a thumbs up. Great machine. Deserves the high ratings it gets. I would have liked to see you carve the breast meat though for your results. Thanks again.

Thanks for the video. Only one suggestion - do NOT use the fork to lift out the chicken half way through cooking as this punctures the skin and lets all the juices out. Best to use the tongs you had. More fiddly, but keeps the bird as moist as possible.

Thanks for watching 😀 yes I bought some oak kitchen worktop off cuts off Facebook market place and had a friend trim and sand them up and a family member then Lazer etched the design.

@1Pizza2Many that's superb, thanks for getting back to me. I'll check the market place out. All the best.

We have an identical Ninja, but as I was watching this video my wife was cooking a chicken in our oven. 😕 Rest assured the next chicken will be done in the Ninja. Great vid. Thanks!

Jack,exactly the same thing happened with me,I bought a small chicken for the Ninja but 'she who must be obeyed' said it won't be as good as the oven,but now she's allowing me to do one in the Ninja so fingers crossed!

I had a smaller ninja round basket type. The Ninja Dual went on sale for $120 off, so I asked him if we could sell the old one and get this one. We did and we love it. I'm going to do chickens up today!

Mine could have used another few minutes, but is was crispy and tasty and very little cleanup. Will definitely be doing it more often
