There were a number of people there listening to what was being said. i definitely am not trying to claim to have full 'ilm of how to do nikâh properly, but it was clear that here it was not hidden Alhamdu Lillâh . regarding the mahr, perhaps they discussed it before and after wa'llâhu A'lam . Again, i am learning about fiqhî matters and do not want to say anything incorrectly. May Allâh give us hidâyah to what is best
