I absolutely love that beam team... Every time I see that card my brain automatically transports back to the little card shop that shared a space with a convenient store in my town wen I was a kid... I swear I can smell the shop every time I see that beam team ( and the Shaq one to... Those were and are my favorite cards of all time)😂😂😂... All I collect is low to mid end 90s and very early 2000s and just a hand full of the big rookies ( the stars) like Durant, Davis, Luca ect... The same with football,but no where near like basketball and baseball just the really big stars low end cards... To round it out 1 Messi 1 Ronaldo and 1 Tiger... Any I hope one day to have the whole set of that years beam team... Happy New Year!!!

@@radbradke It’s crazy to think this is all I’ve ever graded. It’s all for PC and the grade definitely doesn’t matter for my favorites. Nothing is ever like pulling raw cards!!!

@@PapaLu08 You as well!!! I used to be able to go to old Farmer Estate Auctions in small towns and run into handfuls of Vintage. Nice because not too many competitors to bid against but also rarely mint cards.

Awesome collection my favorite is the Walter Payton I almost got a psa4 on eBay for a good deal but just got outbid that one is the one I’m hunting down but at this point I’ll be happy with a psa 1 lol 👍🏼

@@AlexB-mg4in What’s crazy about that one is I found it at an antique shop in a booth with all replica sports stuff and a ton of reprint cards. There was 2 of the Payton’s-the other looked fake for sure but this one didn’t. I think I went back 3-4times after researching fakes before buying for like $125

@@CodaSportsCards Be thorough especially in really bright lighting. If any spec is seen with the naked eye they will see it easily.

Did you check the surfaces before sending them in? Sometimes there can be small surface scratches that you can only see from a certain angle, but those effect the grade too.

@@kyezek524 Since I wasn’t as familiar I checked mostly corners and the basics…I learned from this one more what to look for but since these I haven’t sent anything in because the Covid chaos and timeline that ensued.

My thoughts exactly, anything early 2000s and back tend to have surface issues. At least most of them were 9s which is still better than the standard. Nice submission.

Yesterday I peeled for the first time some 1994 Topps Finest basketball and the cards look even more gorgeous even though it's a common no name player

I looked at that card a TON. Based on everything i saw a 9 was best case scenario. Luckily that black border was mint.
