Honestly you did great. I truly enjoyed the officer. We need more officers like him. Questions you can ask when they are giving you a hard time. What is this office? What exactly do you do? Like City inspector? What is it that you inspect? Code enforcement so how do I go about filling a comolaint? What is the average time it takes from the time that I file a complaint for yall to follow up? Will I receive an update on my complaint? When should I expected an update. Tax collector. So what forms of payment to you accept? Do senior citizens get a discount on their taxes? Do they have to fill extra paper work for the discount? How about people who are disable? Do they get a discount? Do they have to fill papers for that? Now if you encounter someone like the super nice white guy that answered your questions then went back to work I would just leave him alone. He is doing what he is supposed to. Now the ones that want to act a foul those are the ones that i would give a hard time to and after every answer they give i would say very slowly "hum, okay, i see," then repeat back to them what they said so you have time to think of your next questions. Lol or i would repeat what they said but i would change a word or 2 on purpose. 😂 Also never new there is a bank in city hall? Why is their a bank? What the heck do they do? Are they a bank owned by the city? Are they renting an office in city hall? I'm truly confused with that one. So that would for sure be a good one to go back and give a hard time to since they gave you a hard time.😂 is that bank funded by the tax payers? Do they let us borrow back our tax money? Anyways, congrats great job.

I dare you to try that at the Jackson County Assessment Dept, the most corrupt & entitled Govt agency around. Hint: 1) Go in and ask them if they can define MarketValue . Then, when they define it, then ask them why 55,000 people within their county appealed the Market valuations on their homes. They will come un-glued. 2) Ask them why the JacksonCounty Assessment Department has received more news coverage & lawsuits regarding their incompetence & illegal assessments than any other county assessment dept in the UnitedStates.

Doubling & tripling PropertyTaxes in 2023 when the law states that ProptTaxes can't increase more than 15% without a property inspection, among other law violations. Over 55k appeals by the citizens, and numerous lawsuits. Jackson County response? ( KCTV5 , KSHB, and many other news outlets have been investigating them for over a year now, but NONE have shown up to do an audit like what you do).

I thought the Security Guard was one of the best I’ve ever seen in an audit before. He wasn’t tough or rude, or cocky. You were rude when you didn’t answer his question about what you do when you’re not auditing. That’s why he didn’t come back to explain to the employees. He was tired of your demeanor. Be kind to those who are kind to you. And don’t flirt with the female employees , I understand frustration. Be professional. Keep it up , you are educating the public. Do a FOIA request a freedom of information act. as for the people that work there how long they work their salaries any complaints against them. For Part 2 you can expose how ridiculous their new "green energy" building requirements are that have only produced about 10 building permits since september 2023 which as of this comment was almost a year ago. Mayor talks about wanting 10,000 affordable homes but he and azzbackward City Council have chased all the developers and builders away because the average cost of adding these new excessive regulations has resulted in about $31,000 more per house. As an example. In order for me to get a building permit approved I need to add 2x4 and bat insulation to the walls in an UNfinished basement and have R60 insulation in the attic . With todays high interest rates by "bidenomics" (i.e. record inflation) nobody wants to build in that woke city....but hey if you want a free ride on their trolly cars at tax payor expense or all the lawsuits being played out for over valuing property taxes then this is the City for you

The smart thing to do as a city government worker, was ask me to join us at the round table and have a polite chat, how do like the inside of city hall? Have you seen others? We were on break or were talking about the new rail line If someone wants to see city hall then they may want to learn a few things. Jefferson city the state capitol, i walked all around it looked in meeting rooms and offices, then went to the basement to object to the smart meters they forced on us A few years ago. That place is pretty cool lot of history on the walls about the state of mo. About 2 blocks down the hill south is the department for energy regulations then by it is where the guys who give bribes to pay off the members of the house to vote there way, if you want the vote your way take a big stack of cash.
