Every time I watch a BBA vlog, I get a bout of intense jealousy. Our Green Lanes in South East UK are few and far between and sometimes only a few hundred yards. Your miles and miles of off-road make me want to migrate to Australia!!! Safe riding mate.

Nice video thanks, I'm very keen to see how the Cat delete goes. Hope you do a video on that and sound difference. My 2023, Norden 901 Expedition gets a bit hot too. Looks like your mid pipe is not the Arrow brand, which looks like it has a thicker bit in the middle section? I like quiet bikes and I think this cat delete can make the bike a lot louder? If I do this mod, I might need to add another baffle somewhere? Cheers

Awesome first Adventure, or Expedition, should I say? That was indeed a huge day, over 500K and most of it fairly hard going dirt - good effort. Incredible save by Chris and all hail multiple camera angles for such an epic event 😆👍

Great ride day Steve! It’s cool to see Roxette pal’in around with an Africa Twin. I have some injuries that I make… accommodations for and Grip Puppies enlarge the diameter of the grips and I find that helps. When your hand gets better you can always take them off as they slide over existing grips.

You're parked outside the shop where I did my apprenticeship back in 1990. I'm over at Aratula ATM but moving in the next month or so. Yes getting the right saddle bags to suit your gear and bike is paramount to making everything go smoothly, everyone packs differently.

Great video! Just recently picked up my 2024 Norden expedition "CANADA" and just a heads up they have added an O2 sensor post CAT so the current CAT/Mid Pipe delete won't work on the new 2024 model, this includes the heat deflectors as well won't work. Oh and most excellent corner recovery!!!!

I put on aftermarket pipe to lighten up the bike and then when I put the cat delete pipe on it was way too loud are you using the factory exhaust with a cat delete pipe? Nice video, by the way! 😀

You've probably read or heard this already.... but I'd recommend using the Arrow decat pipe. Costs a little more but allows for some backpressure which apparently won't rob bottom end power.

I've had issues with helmet mounts using 3M VHB tape combined with heat and dust. The way I solved it was by using 3M scotchlock velcro. It has a much stronger adhesion as its made for hanging things off. Bonus is, you can remove the mount for cleaning.

I feel your pain riding in the heat, its my first season riding in North Queensland and its next level. Are you doing the link pipe yourself? I did mine on an expedition and can message with some tips if you need as its a little different with the centre stand. I'd recommend a rear master cylinder guard too, after riding off-road and scuffing the plastic around it i think it would be easy to kick the hose out/off from the reservoir.

I have to fly to cairns for work occasionally, I don’t go during the summer months. Unbearable. I’ve watched a few Videos on the cat delete. Seems simple enough. I ‘ll get a reservoir gauged and probably a rear ABS sensor guard as well, it looks quite vulnerable too.

@@BigBikeAdventures yeah it's not too bad, if you've watched a few videos you'll be right. I had to drop the centre stand to get the old cat out and there's a sneaky bolt where the springs go, that actually takes tension off them so you're not trying to refit the springs at full tension.
