I liked this episode- finally resolving the tension between Arthur and Nellie with some nice scenes between them.

Its Grant's fault pure and simple as to why, Phil is in hospital because, through violence he put him there. No one can deny Grant's pain but at this point, after the affair reveal, I lose all sympathy with him, as he relentlessly bullies Sharon, practically confirming the reasons and the problems as to why Sharon looked else where in the first place.

@@danielbeaumont7705 Basically no but the point of the storyline, is to show how complex relationships can be. Going back to August 1992, when the affair first began, Grant and Sharon, had a terrible row, in which Grant trashed the Queen Vic and then disappeared. The point is that Grant still loves Sharon but can't bring himself, understandably to some extent in admitting this. Later though Grant deeply regrets, the way that he bullies Sharon at the end of 1994.
