One month ago I got an 2024 Avalanche Grey STX for $43,000. Trust me a STX is not a base truck as some advertise. It’s actually one step above the typical base model truck. If you looking for a truck to do truck thangs the STX is a great option!

Crazy. I paid 29k for my single cab base 22 f150 lol. Whipple 3.0L warranty on it too, purchased that on Black Friday. All in all, I paid around 35k for 725HP with warranty.

Ya but that ain't no old cheap truck either! These trucks outsudd the leather heat cooled seats, do have all the tech cruise tilt pwr everything , nice wheels etc with a great warranty! And the reliability you can count on, so ya they are still too high it's not like you get junk

In other words, inexpensive vehicles are becoming a thing of the past and your average consumer can no longer afford it.

Great choice! The STX is the best bargain of all full-size trucks. It is its own trim now. I actually like the open glovebox on the dash.

Up until 2023, STX was an appearance package on the XL trim. Beginning with 2024, the STX is it's own trim. So, technically, the STX is not the base truck anymore.

I myself own the same truck & can’t wait to see a whipple on this . Those 4x4 whipple launches are like no other and what makes this more interesting and a better sleeper is that it’s a supercrew. Too many RCSB builds out there. I’d recommend the corsa sport preaxle exhaust.

I just got my base model XL150 STD Cab short bed with 4 wheel drive, and bed liner for 34674.00. I ordered it and waited 3 months. I used a 3000.00 coupon I got in the mail, dealer cash back and a Ford X plan to get almost 8000.00 off. I wanted the lightest F 150 I could get. Killer deal. A blower is in the works.

Great video Brother!!! Katskin covers in a nice color with cool stitching is on deck!!! I recommend since you have black paint that you go ahead and get PPF on the entire front of the truck. Black paint shows rock chips & debris like a flashing light. PPF which now has “self-healing” is the way to protect the impressive black-out look. I wasn’t aware of the Ford badge having a light option from after market choices. Sounds cool. Look forward to seeing Kooks headers and AWE cat-back exhaust!!! Look into the Ford parts department to see if you can get the flip-out table between the console for eating and working inside the cabin. I have a similar thing going on: STX Black Edition with 5.0, 3.73 locking diff, heavy duty towing package, plastic drop in bed liner. Then I added heated seats (under the very nice stock cloth), remote start key fob, tinted front windows for $1000 at an auto accessories shop. Adding 20" Vemonrex 601 flow forged wheels/Michelin tires. I will use the nice 20" stock Black Edition wheels for winter rubber (I live in Michigan). Then add Whipple Gen 6 1r from Whipple, makes 795 HP, for $9100, a Borla touring cat back exhaust for $1500, Bilstein 5100 shocks, Ford Performance 1.5"/2.5" lowering suspension--way better road manners and more precise (done this before) for a measly $1000. Then PowerStop vented/drilled brake kit. Everything including sales tax will be $70,000. It will look like an understated, clean, stealth--but not stock--looking Street Rod truck. I will smile every morning walking out to it, knowing the Vettes and Mustangs--and some of the BMW M guys--better be on their toes. Priceless! I DO haul a motorcycle and snowmobile in the bed on weekends, so I actually NEED a truck with 6.5-foot bed. Wondering if tremor wheel with orange stitching would look close enough to the yellow sticking the STX has. Let us know what you do with the steering wheel.

The deals on STX's are even better now. The STX is now it's own trim, no longer an appearance package for the LX. Started in 24 I think. I picked up a 23 with 13975 on the odo in Aug for 35.5. Thankfully I do not have the auto start stop on mine. I do not like the digital dash on the 24 and I do not like the rubber steering wheel. And I think I have the only STX with no lumbar support. I am going to change the steering wheel and the seats this summer. maybe sooner. 7.9% int, is that right? I financed 7K of my truck for 4.9 on a used truck. I do wish I had the 5.0.

Almost bought the same truck. Went to do the paperwork and saw a used nissan titan pro 4x on dealers website that had 3800 miles. The new ford had no options even a manual seat where as the titan had everything but self driving. I bought it and have a better warranty (5year 100k miles) and am sitting in leather instead of mouse hair. Also the Ford was over 48k with discount and my titan was just under 47k. Nissan is discontinuing the titan so the savings are huge and JD powers ranked it number 1 in reliability. I liked the new Ford but love my new titan with the panoramic sunroof open and Fender stereo blasting.

Very nice truck I bought one in Roanoke, Virginia 2024 STX avalanche gray same motor same transmission I love the truck but the transmission has a terrible wine and noise very loud very annoying. The Ford dealer says it’s normal. I don’t think it is, but you got a nice truck

I have a ‘19 f150 …. I believe it’s the same transmission. Maybe I got a good one, but definitely doesn’t make any noticeable noise. If it’s that bad, doesn’t seem normal at all.

Unfortunately, the changes Ford has made to the gen 4 Coyote, like the wet rubber belt drive for the oil pump, removing the gear driven pump the gen 1 thru 3 used, and the cylinder deactivation, have made the Coyote an unacceptable option. I am certainly not a Ford hater, just the opposite. I have been a Ford fan boy for 50 years. I have owned a Gen 2 Coyote Mustang and still own a Gen 3 Coyote F150, and think the Coyote WAS the greatest engine ever made. But you could not GIVE me a gen 4 Coyote. Sorry Ford, no deal.
