I'm a Z06 guy, but always admired the higher performance variant Mustangs. The C8 Corvette dash did it right, but this new Mustang dash is a dumpster fire.

The Past Model Mustangs, had a ton of Models (Boss, Mach 1, California Special, GT350, GT500, etc). And price and it being so niche. And that interior/dash is not good and looks like everything else. When you can get a used Mustang as you said. Because as of now used GT350s are a Performance Bargain.

Car does not distinctively showcase itself as a GT350. It looks like a GT with some aero parts. GT350 bar was set high from last S550, especially with the previous engine....the bar was not met with this one.

It's boring. It's boring to drive. It's got the same trash manual they've been using for 5 or 6 years now. They've locked it. So no tinkering for horsepower. And at the price point, you can get WAY better cars. The Mustang is supposed to be the every mans sports car. it's a pony car. A tinker car. Now, it's like the sports car for Karens. It has no soul. It's cooked. And they re-introduce the GT350 at 110K??!!! Think of the competition in that price range...

Look.... i love my s650, but Shelby and Ford need to remember who the majority of their consumers are. It's not the high bracket earners. It's a frigging mustang, a muscle car that has always been the approachable muscle car for the average consumer. I get that Shelby is a unique package, but 50k-100k is out pricing the majority of consumers who buy mustangs.

One of the reasons mustang is taking a knock is the fact that you can compare a car that equal in price, equal in specs and the stang still loses the 0-60 and the 1/4 mile and it’s sad to see, that an electric truck can out perform a Shelby gt500 in the 0-60 and come even in the 1/4 mile

Its the economy it came out in. But its literally the best looking mustang since the 2013 2014 mustang imo. I loke that they got rid of most of the round bubble appearance that the s550 had. The interior is subjective. Yea i hated the screens at first but literally all the new cars have those screens instead of analog gauges now. I personally dont care about the ecu being locked. With 480 hp stock it has way more than enough power already. 20 years ago it only came with 260 hp stock so i dont understand why even with famn near 500hp stock the first thing people think aboit is boosting them.....people will never be happy.

Basically the economy and inflation is fucking this concept over. Unless its the OEM doing the cool engines and everything themselves or with Shelby then its not going to happen. The only choice Shelby had was to take off the line gt's and modify them, and then hope that people would pay a premium for their name on it. And then on top of that it seems nobody wants the factory car either so its a lose lose lose. Its not the 60's, 90's or even the 2010's anymore, regulation and tech and everything has gone so far that unless you do the mods yourself you're not going to get anything cool.

Its based on a $43k 300a GT. They are asking $110k. You could buy two of those GTs and add whipples for this insane price.

For me, I’ll give my take on this new GT350. I’m not hating on it at all, it’s a cool car. I’m an owner of a ‘17 GT350 and an ‘18 GT350R and when I saw that Shelby was releasing a new version I was excited. For me after I saw the car before I ever even knew the price, I thought it was cool but it didn’t move me like the S550 GT350’s by Ford Performance. Plain and simple for me, it just didn’t feel special to me like FP’s version with the carbon wheels, wing and of course the almighty Voodoo. Not saying Shelby’s new version isn’t badass cause it is but it’s just not special for ME, it just feels like a modded GT, which it is. People don’t need to be rude or rip Shelby, just don’t buy one and that’ll be enough said.

Ford needs a wow product now. They are letting Chevy run with it. They didn’t use to do that.

While we all have our opinions, we as consumers also have power. What would happen if we did not subscribe to youtubers who further fuel the high car prices and we refuse to buy cars that on average cost $40,000?? I agree with the comments here regarding Shelby and it's no ones fault but the one who created the problem. Go to Shelby's page and see how much a Shelby will cost you. It's ridiculous. I like to illustrate it this way, bringing out a new Mustang is like coaching or playing for the Dallas Cowboys, it comes with hate and criticism and alot of challenges. I also fault all of the KZbin "INFLUENCERS", who hyped up these cars that we are fond of, whether Ford , Chevy, or Dodge by getting behind the scene or at some reveal to be put on their channels. However, the price for these cars have greatly increased due to dealer markups, MSRP pricing, and high interest rates, ie. Shelby GT350 and Mustang GT. What I find funny is that influencers portray themselves as car enthusiasts when in fact they are delusional because they put sooo much money in these cars modifying them only to get rid of them in a month for the next new thing or blow them up racing. Jay Leno is a real car enthusiast. Ask him how many of his cars has he gotten rid of? Those cars we see influencers with are only for their channel and views. Which is why most of these influencers have these channels for their own personal gain rather than working a 9 - 5 like the rest of us, they would rather live off of your likes and subscriptions. They would be more appreciated if they informed and advocated for car lovers, thus truly giving back to the people who keep their channel going. Giving away a car after you buy some of their merchandise is NOT GIVING BACK!" Influencers do nothing to temper manufactures and car dealers from gouging the consumer. Just because you have KZbin channel and are invited to reveals, showing off, how are you helping?? You're part of the problem.

Just from exterior styling alone it's hard to pick out the differences between it and plain Jane gt. In my opinion all the new mustangs look to much alike aside from the gtd and that is unattainable for most

Yeah, we’re all pissed because they think they can slap a BMR suspension and a whipple on and play it for over $100,000. It’s insulting to the fan base. Their previous packages are overpriced as well but nothing to this level. At least they could’ve opened the block and gave us a built 5.2 cross plane motor and a Tremec transmission.

It is trash, it's rich peoples car, Mustang is supposed to be a blue collar car not a 6 digit price tag. We need a Cobra not a Shelby, like back in the 90's and 2000's where the car has upgrades over a GT but not like twice the cost of a GT.
