Hey everyone, welcome back to another Sunday night video. Today's video is a paid driveway cleaning job that I carried out for a lovely elderly lady that got in contact with me to have her driveway cleaned for the first time ever. This driveway is a whopping 52 years old, and is in serious need of a deep clean and re-sand.
This was a bad one that was full of moss and grime, that created a huge amount of slop, I took away 2 full bags of muck for disposal, which for a driveway this size is a LOT. This is quite a satisfying transformation, and considering how filthy, and how old the drive is, it cleaned up pretty nicely.

Aw thanks Denise ❤️. Slurry is more of a cement pointing term, for me anyway, when builders point paved areas, they will use a cement mix slurry, it's semi- liquid, and can be pushed/brushed into the joints quickly and easily instead of doing it by hand ❤️

Looked up the temperature, 23 Farenheight, that is nippy. Interesting they used a speckled brick. There will be a lot of muck. Looking forward to seeing how differently the house is set off when done. Smilar to edging a lawn, doing the edging on the driveway really looked good. Thanks for showing the wet sanding, you've mentioned you could do wet areas but I've missed the full example before. The final result is good looking.

I am watching this for the best way to do my drive as well. Currently similar to this with moss in the gaps but i dont get weeds coming through. If i get rid of tge moss and put the sand down like you, won't i get weeds coming through. Thank you.

So, why is it bad to have the moss like that? I thought it was quite pretty in the before with the moss lining the bricks. We don’t have enough moisture and too much sun here to grow moss like that so I’m not familiar with the down side.

Lol, yes I do, do that depending on the customer. If they're old, and especially if it's an older lady, I try to soften my voice because i'm quite aware of my appearance, shaved head, grumpy looking. I get people telling me I look aggressive sometimes, so I try to make older customers feel at ease and not feel intimidated by me. ❤️ I talk to myself as well 😏
