Even though the people that made the funimation dub knew the Frieza saga wasn't the last; everything (even the music) seemed to ooze final showdown. The namek saga had among the most epic music. :)

Actually you are maybe right,the creator himself revealed in one of the later interviews,that he planed to end dbz after frieza saga,with goku achieving the highest power level in entire galaxy and being the strongest worrier there is.Later on editors came with an idea to create android and all other later saga's.Google it,it's true :p :D

It played in the beginning when piccolo said "either my eyes are playing tricks on me or Goku won that little battle" and when Goku and frieza were deciding on a location to fight after staring at each other.

Since you been pumping out a lot of Frieza saga tunes lately. If you haven't already planned on it. Here's one that I haven't seen. The orginal Evil suspense that first played with Vegeta entering Frieza's ship and all of his men following him around as he searched for the Dragon Balls. It was different than the Cell/Buu saga versions as it had a different interlude.
