What transfer case are you going to use with the 4l60?

I have the original NP205, and I also have the adapter for the newer transmission, which is a 4l65e. I thought it was a 4l60, but after some research into the transmission tag, I was wrong.

The adapter is from Advance Adapters. I also sent it out to be bulletproofed with the axles a couple of weeks ago, just waiting their return!

was this a 1 day removal? I am going to be swapping my 72 K5 too. BTW dirty dingo sells a 4x4 swap crossmember.

Yes, removal is the easy part! Just a couple of hours. Assembly can be the challenging part, nothing wants to go back together as easy as it came apart. Thank you for the tip on the crossmember!

@@BlueOvalRescue cool. I 6.0 swapped my 76 regal and my 72 k5 is getting a 6.6 l8t likely. Motorcity k5 has the crossmembers btw.

I absolutely understand the frustration! The Mustang is my favorite on going build, and I do have plans for making some custom parts for it! I am still waiting on parts that were ordered MONTHS ago (I ordered the chassis in July) and the welding of the body panels depends on the chassis being here. This car is going to be EPIC!! I have been waiting 8+ years to get it going, and I cannot wait to finish it up!
