1st Gen RAV4 Gets New Door, Fender and Cool Rear Molle Folding Door Shelves!

1st Gen RAV4 (1999) gets a new fender, drivers side door, and a pretty cool rear door mounted fold down molle webbing shelving system.
How I installed the fender and door I picked out of a wrecking yard.
I finally had the parts painted, and I installed the new wreckers door and fender. I also bought a cool rear door shelf. Perfect for my hunting, camping, and overlanding adventures!

Love the shelf on the rear door; I used some riv-nuts to put a gun rack on my '99 the same way. Now I always have my folding shovel, axe, and snow brush.

Wow Jimmy! This video is the best yet on do-it-yourself car repair. Pretty interesting how you managed to get to all the nuts and bolts let alone improvise special tools (who would have thought a ski?) to get the various plastic cladding parts off. And...love that molly table, pretty awesome and it only works on a swing out rear door! I know a lot of gophers are pretty nervous now that you are out driving about. Thanks for putting this video together, I know its not easy and a lot of hours editing, but really enjoyed watching every bit of it!

Hi Jimmy I see it was a beer break after taking pieces off. This was very interesting..That’s a whole or of hidden parts! Save the swearing for the next potato head!
