Good looking truck man I like it. Gonna do something like that to mine as soon as I buy another truck because I daily it right now it’s bone stock and already gets bad gas mileage. Prolly won’t lift it as much and prolly do a solid axle in the front and do some crawling with it. Just got done putting a new frame under it it’s a 2000 model 3.4 4wd 5 speed. It’s the trd off road model as well I love it wouldn’t get rid of it for anything

How much front suspension travel do you get? It seems like the bump stop gap is very small
@copperhead35052 жыл бұрын
not very much tbh but updated the video and i put a 2½ level and it helped abunch

I just put this same 6 inch rough country kit on mine and it was riding the bump stops too. I called rough country and they told me it was supposed to be like that but there is no way because I had absolutely no upward travel. I bought a 3 inch strut spacer and put it on and it fixed it
@remingtonhaley3276 Жыл бұрын
How you fixed the back bumper because I put the 3 inch body lift on it and it’s got a big gap
@copperhead3505 Жыл бұрын
you gotta unbolt it and flip the braket upside down and drill new holes we did mine to high and the tailgate sits on the bumper now

Go with a better looming offset and you can run 38s. And stay away from cust offsets

yea np and for another 50 bucks or so you can also put a 2½ inch level in it if you tryna go to 12 but if yours is 2wd you can put 2nd gen tacoma lift struts with the rc for round 15 inchs
@adamheffelfinger76932 ай бұрын
@@copperhead3505i’m guessing for 4wds the 2nd gen tacoma struts still will work or will it mess up the angles on the cv’s?
@copperhead35052 ай бұрын
@adamheffelfinger7693 from my understanding you can't run 4wd with the 2nd gen struts and some.high caster uppers will be recommended
