1st Generation Astro/Safari Fuel Pump Circuit

Nice demonstration, my old 1991 astro will run for short time, then quit. It will restart, and again quit, now I can at least ring the Circuit and see where the problem lies. Thank you for the demonstration.

Hey, Dont know if you are still here. But I have the same van and someone worked on it in the past and they cut these 2 kind of thick red wires behind the battery near the fuse box under the hood. I was wondering if you could show me how yours is hooked up back there as I cant figure out what they were connected to. Both of them are coming out of a large bundle of wires right behind the battery.

i have a 95 astro and just replace the fuel pump 2 times but it doesn't send any fuel pressure, do u think its because the oil pressure switch its not working and thats why the fuel pump doesnt work ?

There are TWO paths for the electricity to flow to the fuel pump, so if you are not getting power to the pump you would check the oil pressure switch/circuit and the fuel pump relay circuit.
