Hi Miriam! We're excited for Simply Good and Beautiful Math as well! Math curriculum is high priority for us. Because we are still working on our elementary Math courses, we do not have plans to release any High School math courses in the near future, however, we plan on starting the development of High School math after the release of Math 6-8, which will release over the next few years! 💛

Question? I am almost half way through the older version on level 1. Is it okay to just start with the new version level 2 come September? My daughter will be 8 in January and is really good at math.

Have her take the assessment for Level 2 and that will help you gauge what to do. The new Simply Good and Beautiful Math Level 1 download will be free, so you can use it to print off and teach some of the lessons with concepts that she needs to review before starting Level 2 if that is what you decide to do.

In Simply Good and Beautiful Math, the currency used is based on United States currency, but you could easily substitute any coins you use and also substitute with the needed play money which can be found at most local stores. We would encourage you to look through the extensive sample pages to see if modifying the currency will work for your family. Please let us know if you have any further questions!

So excited to start Level 1 in the fall! I did have a question about the Math Box. I'd love to get it, but shipping to Canada costs more than the box itself costs...is there a guide on building our own if we are outside of the US, or are there any other shipping options to make it more affordable?

Hi Angela! The shipping prices are set by FedEx®. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to ship to international customers for less. We have actually seen a decrease in most international shipping costs with our switch from USPS International to FedEx®. We wish there was more we could do! I am also having the same issue. However, I do believe math is something I want no holes in so I think I’m personally gonna play it safe and go with the lower level and then if we go through it quickly move to the next one. Thankfully, for us, the price point does allow a little room to play.

When I pulled my girls from public school a couple years ago I started them at a lower level to ensure full understanding. My oldest completed 2 1/2 math books the first year. I would rather do that then have them be frustrated.
