We are a few lessons in and my children are loving it so far. It is beautifully done and I love how it flows. The way that Multiplication is taught is a great fit for my children.

I took my kids out of public school gave them the assignment and my 3rd graders my 1st grader and my second grader all tested well below the level they should be at and have blown through level k and one math in the past 4 months they have finished it and understood it very well disappointed in our public schools but my kids are doing well in this and I’m learning spelling 😅 with them so if I’m proof public school is crap by you having hard time reading my comment I’m stoked to buy level 3 soon they will be on level 2 in about a month so 😂 might as well buy it now ❤

We are not homeschoolers but wepurchased the 3rd grade math curriculum for our daughter to work on over the summer as she had fallen behind in her school due to covid interruptions. She loves the program and has learned so much so easily! This is a great program that builds on itself over the daily lessons. We are going to miss using it now that she is going back to school next week. We may try to get in a lesson or two each week as homework 😉. We also purchased the 3rd literature course as well and love that one as well. Thank You G&B for creating such a wonderful curriculum for children and also selling it at such a reasonable cost. Mostly, Thank You for bringing God and the Bible into your curriculum. Very well done and so appreciated. A breath of fresh air indeed. We also use your Book List and have many books from your own library. My daughter went from a reluctant reader in 2nd grade to a child who loves to read!! ❤️

I will concour with everything she said. My 7 year old start math 2 last week and absoultly LOVES it!!!! I don't have to fight her to do math she actually WANTS to do it. And she always asks to do it last because "math is so fun!" Lol I love it!!!

Just bought this for my 6 year old who is going into grade 2. Homeschooling for the second year here in Canada - such wonderful curriculum books you offer! This is SO much better than the previous math system. It had two separate curriculum books, game sheets and manipulatives. It was an overwhelming experience. Happy to update to this simpler format.

This was very helpful as im trying to decide whether to start my (should be) 3rd grader with this level, but now I feel confident that a review of year 2 would truly benefit her. Her school did distance learning all of last year and she really didn't absorb any of that material.

Thats sooo much better we have used tgatb math k and 1 the older version and luv it just alot of times we wuld be skipping the games becuz id have them at home or up stairs. This updated version having the games with the lessons make it so much better. I love using tgatb and have been thinking of switching only becuz i felt like we wasnt getting enough from it as far as math problems. Cuz it relied more on the games which is great but annoying when u dont have it. Also 1 thing i luv about it and struggle with is the cinsepts feel like they r for higher grades like the level 1 book we r using feels more like a grade 2 book. But i think this year we will skip level 2 and go to the updated level 3 book.

Hi Hillary! The punch out pieces are used in 10 lessons (out of 120). Most pieces for a lesson can be cut out in 30 seconds or less. Two of the lessons may require up 2 minutes of cutting time, depending on how detailed you want to get while cutting out uniquely shaped items.

We used Masterbooks level 3 last year and I’m feeling like we didn’t cover the things i see in this level 3 book. I may buy level 3 again. 😑

Hi I've been trying to download The Math Level 3 PDF for days now and keep getting an error message saying the file is broken and can't be repaired. I tried downloading other levels to be sure I wasn't doing something wrong and it wasn't just user error and was able to open them no problem. It's just Math 3 (which happens to be the one I need!) that won't work. HELP!! We're falling behind :(

Hi Eileen! Homeschool parent here. You could space out the lessons and play math games, review concepts, or practice multiplication facts on days you don't do a formal lesson! There are great ideas online. My children love multiplication baseball! It's a fun way to practice math facts without a formal lesson. Hope that helps!

Hello! Thank you for your comment. Yes! We have many international customers who use The Good and the Beautiful. Our current Simply Good and Beautiful Math program includes both the Imperial and Metric Systems of measurement. Both are taught throughout the levels. The currency used is based on United States currency. You could easily substitute any coins and bills you use. Hello Alexa! Thank you for your interest. Yes! While Simply Good and Beautiful Math contains the highest academic standards, it more closely follows grade levels and is not considered advanced. Please visit our Simply Good and Beautiful Math product page and click on the blue box labeled "Math Placement Test." For most children, we suggest that they start on their grade level, unless they are behind in math or advanced. If they are advanced, they will naturally go through the lessons more quickly and move ahead without having any foundational holes.

You need more practice sheets to help children retain more. Yes it teaches a wide variety of things but not In depth practice.this curriculum would be complete if it had a separate practice or advance drill booklet. Switched my daughter to another curriculum because i had to supplement more practice i noticed right away she would forget previous chapters. After applying practice sheets she finished the curriculum in half a school yr. Nd testing help me see that she needed the xtra practice drills to fully retain the lessons. Overall good curriculum to start with.

Hello, thank you for your suggestion for additional practice sheets! Simply Good and Beautiful Math courses are complete and thorough. We do not follow common core standards, but we do match or exceed most national public school standards. Simply Good and Beautiful Math is mainly a spiral curriculum, constantly reviewing concepts your student has learned to ensure he or she understands and retains the information. Our courses are aligned to be on average grade level. Many concepts are considered advanced but are introduced in lessons that are easy to follow for both the child (in the self-guided levels) and the parent (in levels 3 and under).
