Queen gets head squished. All the other girls want squished heads because fashion. They swarm. In the Fall, we start hearing reports of a new strain of Bees with squished heads. Turns out they're more productive because they can fit their heads further into flowers. 😀

I notice you're not wearing gloves or protective gear. Do the bees ever sting you?
@aquawoelfly5 жыл бұрын
Vinofarm? Did a video on this and why he does/doesnt wear gear. It has more to do with reading your bees. Its safest to walk your dog with. Leash but many dogs can keep a heel without it. It may be easiest to ride with a ton of tack, but going bareback with little more then a lead and a halter is also possible.
@aquawoelfly5 жыл бұрын
The same reason some people dont use a leash when walking thier well trained dog. The same reason some people ride bareback. The saftey equipment is nice but not always neccisary

So the bees don’t really care when you dismantle the hive and such? I know you used smoke, but they’re still fairly active.
@Teresa528045 жыл бұрын
Bees tend not to leave the hive much until later in life when they start to forage. The majority of the bees in the hive are nurse bees who would rather stay to keep the brood(baby bees) at a constant temp. They are too busy doing their jobs to mind much unless you're rush and bang things around.
