If you really want to know what's happening, follow the money. We're definitely going to get what can be sold to us (e.g. dungeons, trials), everything else such as performance improvements, PvP balances and QoL are basically up in the air.

This has been an issue for years. They keep releasing bigger and bigger houses, but won't increase the item cap beyond 700.

I actually really like the idea of this cyrodill update. All I do is play PVP, and I'm tired of running into cheese builds.

It doesn't really help that much when most of PvP is being carried by proc sets. They need separate PvP stats for them as well.

@samuraichicken2315 couldn't agree more. I believe Pvp should reward skill and consistency. I can appreciate proc sets that provide support buffs, like RC, ET, etc, not sets that proc an immediate damage tool tip and essentially act as a crutch.

They should also get rid off the trials set working in PvP .Some ppl will not be happy if it happens, but in my opinion,those set SHOULD not work on pvp area . Like imagine if vicious death was working in pve area after all this time since set release. Just separate pvp and pve once and for all.

I love the base game changes , don’t pvp anymore but, if gear is made the same they should make racials not work either so we can play our favorite races. Without big nerfs to our build

The test seems interesting. I have 2 concerns though. 1. Will they actually share what they learnt from the tests via an updated roadmap once the test has concluded and been discussed in house. 2. What impact will this have on balancing as there are a lot of classes that are currently being carried (in PvP) by weapon/guild/world abilities being significantly stronger than their in class options. Ultimately im interested in the tests to see what they have in mind, but I remain skeptical that the implementation and results of the tests will just end up with another U35 situation, where the goals are awesome but the implementation left significant portions of the game much worse off.

yeah with it only being a week long test, I'm not too concerned. I don't think they intend on anything that dumbed down, they just need a starting point.

@skinnycheeks that's what I'm gathering too, but as I said, my number 1 concern is they won't share what the results show or what conclusions were of the tests and just go ahead with their own ideas/changes without listening to the feedback being given to them (like they did for U35, AWA, and soo many other changes).

This update is the last update of its kind, you do know that right. The mix up begins in June when the game follows a new content path

What concerns me is that their list of updates is a list of projects that were already at completion point. It's not new work and many of us feel that there is no new plan. Pvers/streamers need to realize the distain for the community and disregard for gameplay they're experiencing over the last year or so is not 'new'. Other sections of the community have experienced it for a long time. This is a game where the employees who produce the product ignore those with purchasing power. And there's a very elegant solution to that. 1. Stop promoting inferior product 2. Know that a company is never anyone's 'friend'. 3. Don't give away free advice -charge by the hour. If there's an error -that's for them to stay up to 3am figuring out. I feel ESO streamers have been the unpaid testers for Zos for far too long.

I think its great they want to test. I think its great they are only going to do it for a week. And i also think it sounds like the worst test they have ever done for cyrodiil. Again, let me stress, im happy theyre trying, but if they destroy everything that pvpers love about cyrodiil in the process, then whats the point. and i know its only a week, i just hope they play on using the data to make VERY small changes. Any kind of cyrodiil that restricts your skills or build like this will fail. people like making builds. but if they use this data to make some small changes to a small amount of sets and skills? ya that would be good. this is a lot like the no cross healing test. That they scrapped and didnt use at all. Basiclaly saying it didnt make "enough" of an impact. But some impact is better than none. Or even using the data to change some cross healing. I just have zero faith, and i cant think of anything that is more of the opposite of what people want for cyro. but ofc i hope they fix it. like she said, they have to start somewhere ig.

I don't care about addons on console. We have addons on PC and what ZOS does is ruining every single addon every single update and it is not fun at all to reinstall and fix it again and again. Plus the community willing to invest their own time and work fixing addons is shrinking rapidly as the studio behaves like 3 years old children. I expect another bugged/ broken update ruining my game.

ESO is now GW2 for PvP. Time to move on and this won’t fix the lag. When they moved everything server side during the lighting patch is when the horrendous lag started. They have not been able to figure it out since then and sets used to be super simple also.

Why aren't they updating characters? The environment is fine, and I'm picky about environments. The first thing I hear from any friend who tries ESO is that the characters are so ugly. Especially male elves. It should be easier to create a decent looking male elf that doesn't have a receeding hairline. The hair textures are awful. Worst I've seen in the MMO industry.

I don’t think they can ever fix faces or anything but hair should be something they can fix. Maybe update the old hair and add new styles, but also give us the old hair textures if we don’t want to change our character
