Those little movie references made me smile. I'm getting my milled slide back with my Acro P2 in about a week, so your timing for this video couldn't have been better. I had to save up for this one, so it's been a long time coming and I'm pretty stoked. I've been shooting for quite a while, but this will be my first time using a pistol red dot. I've always been hesitant to trust a red dot on a defensive handgun. A fellow instructor told me that you don't have to like red dots, but if you're going to teach new shooters in a time when many new shooters are starting out with red dots, you'd better have some experience with them. I thought that was a good point, but I figured if I was going to do a red dot, it needed to overcome most of my concerns about red dots, like open emitters.

@kitbadger would you consider doing a video on your Vudu 5-25x? I’d like to see the features and quality demonstrated when mounted on a “general purpose” AR platform. It’s compact and light weight compared to other scopes in its magnification range and almost comparable to some LPVOs. I’d love to see it with an offset red dot go through a Brutality match. I appreciate your content thanks for doing what you do.

What are your thoughts on the XR1? I am impressed so far but some people seem to dislike them for some reason. I think they are referring to the old model.
