The little neck that you plugged off is for the throttle body crossover tube. The hose sits right below the body and heats it for winter driving.

I’m pretty sure the temp gauge in a 2000 is a dummy gauge, they will move to red when they really over heat but they stick to 210 otherwise, LS1’s run hot so the story was GM got tired of people bringing the cars in… 98’s are the only year with a fully accurate gauge

Hey bro get some one to tig weld the radiator. The coolent system can produce alot of pressure especially in hotter temps . Dont want it popping that plug off while spirit driving

Idk about that extra spout on the new rad. The Pontiac and Chevy factory pieces are identical no matter what options the car received

Hey I have a 2000 ss camaro it don’t break loose like that not even in 2nd gear is that normal ? I have 315 in the back but still feel like it should break loose
@SOLODRIVEN3 жыл бұрын
Well with my experience these cars have a lot of torque so they have broke loose on me but keep in mind I’m on factory tires. Most likely you’re not breaking loose and getting traction because you have wide wheels and a good set of tires which is a good thing. Breaking loose looks good but not really beneficial for racing at all lol

What’s up brother! Thanks for checking out the channel I appreciate it. Tbh I’m new to this platform so I’m not sure what I even want to do, but all in all it’s really what you want to do and what hp you’re trying to accomplish. I’m sticking with the ls1 will probably go turbo some day.
