problem with draco zoo is always consistancy. But once drident get kicked out, master peace will take her place.

Not even consistenty. It can build a field even better than Demise Draco. Issue is that the massive counter cards played atm (roughly 20 cards) hinder Dracos more than Zoos, since Zoos can recover easier from Strike, Controller, Chalice, Raigeki etc.

Talking about how the mirror match is a good indication of a player's skill reminds me of the time me and Marcello played 14 games with pendulums after their 1st hit and came out 7-7. Aaaaand then zoo opens the game, makes their incredibly power consistent opener and then your turn arrives and they flip vanity's, beating rogue decks even harder than they would have before. You have to remember that although powerful cards may help to improve your rogue/casual strategy keep up, your opponent also has access to them. They're equally abusable in already amazing decks which makes them even more powerful. The game becomes who got lucky and won the die roll or drew the broken card that should've been banned first.

Come on Lithium, looking at his deck, you should know better than to think what he was playing was optimal. He's playing 42 cards, he has a random Barrier in his maindeck (which should be at 3 or 0 given that it's a blowout against everything except Pure True Draco), Combo is a mediocre card, playing split ratios between Chalice and E-Con is pointless given that they're so similar that you might as well play 3 of the better card. And all of that is without getting out of standard deckbuilding theory. Good on him for doing so well, his technical play seems like it's really good (and it must be to win an event like this) but this deck definitely isn't nearly as good as it could have been.

The deck has a high floor, but a really high ceiling as well since it allows you to be really flexible and play around a lot of things. It just has too much free stuff: 1 search, 1 reborn,2 pops each turn and its hardly stoppable since every monster they can access turns into those 3 things.
