Happy to see another OCG Tenpai enjoyer! I love how the deck is performing right now. Running a handtrap-heavy build in the Philippines

Nice bro. I`m really enjoying the deck. The handtrap heavy version is really strong.

Hey mate, fellow OCG player and Tenpai enjoyer in China. Nice deck profile, really like some of the techs you choose, especially the going first package.

Thanks man. Hows your build looking?

@@lun-gi-oh1556 So I tried a lot of board breakers in my first build and found out that leaving some rogue deck uninterrupted can easily cost you the game. My new build mixes board breakers and hand traps to to limit my opponent's combo and OTK on the crack back. Nib, Imperm and Maxx limits the opponent's options and my boardbreakers/Santa Claws simplifies what is left. I chose to play 3 Fedoras as it helps summon the Sangen Superdragon in MP1 meaning I can go into BP without too much worries. After that I'm hoping when going first Anti-Spell, Solemn and Seals with hopefully the field spell is enough to stop my opponent going first post siding, but this is where I like your version better, your going first options seem stronger and I also saw some OCG players trying out a small Rokket package (5 main deck and 5 ED spots) to end on Borrelend + Borreload. Hope that helps and you keep finding success with the Majiang deck, I'm certainly going to keep playing and improving on it (and keeping a lookout for your potential next video). Here's my current list for reference: ygoprodeck.com/deck/ocg-tenpai-429702

Thoughts on running the odd eyes meteorburst synchro in this deck? Seems really good. Almost like an honorary tenpai dragon monster

I have it in my updated deck list. It's crazy good. Won me most of my matches in my last tournament.

Oh shit, a fellow english speaker based in OCG. Where do you play, if you don't mind me politely asking? Hong Kong over here.

I play in Okayama Japan. Hows the Metagame in Hong Kong?

@@lun-gi-oh1556 In the shop I play which has the biggest locals in HK on Sundays(20-30 players), it's either pure Snake-eye, Fire King Snake-eye or Silenforcs. There's also usually at least 2-3 Sky Striker players that show up and at least 2-3 Flundereeze players as well. And then there's me, the only Filipino among the Chinese who plays Pure Runick out of sheer spite. xD

Can you read those Japanese cards? I play in an OCG based area too and we have to use translation app to look up the effects
@lun-gi-oh15566 ай бұрын
I can read Hiragana, Katakana and some Kanji. I can remember some terms for effects but modern cards are complicated. i get used to effects using Ygoro and other translations.

Any thoughts about builds for Tenpei and dragon maid?

I havent taken a look at Dragonmaid. But there could be potential.

wow full going 1st cards on side deck, my going 1st card on side only heat wave and dimensional barrier 😂
@lun-gi-oh15566 ай бұрын
Heatwave is good. My main is geared towards going second so my side maximises defense for going first. Also if you play Heatwave D Barrier is redundant.
