I'd like to take a moment to honestly appreciate what you do; Its not that easy to consistently upload video of this high quality, and keeping it on point, having your content properly demonstrate the deck's capabilities every time, showing interactions, and ingenuity for every single deck you're trying. Moreover, you don't stray away, don't change content, and don't tire your viewers with redundant tired subjective matters, you cut to the chase every time without involving opinions, and biases which makes your videos SO GOOD and popular, and that's got to be hard to do. So thank you. Really, your channel is awesome, and has been awesome for years. Keep it up! And also, please sometime in the future, make another special video like the time-thief, where the deck goes back in time, or prank kids doodling over the opponent's names. that trap is the new go to card when tenpai players are forced to go 1st kaihou will end their mp1 then if super dragon in the field, it will force their monster to attack resulting to a board wipe and you drawing cards, flood summon and recovery/follow up next turn. (time it good and your opponent might otk himself)

Nobody is saying the deck is bad, we have OCG lists we know it's good. Is it overhyped? Also yes, OCG tops for it decreased after people learned the matchup and started siding for it. It's a strong tier 1.5 deck with lots of non engine slots and terrifying otk potential. Also it's pretty boring. Decks that ignore interaction tend to not be that fun to play against.

It's annoying going second and you have a high chance of getting otked. They even run A LOT of handtraps to mess you up as well as board breakers while being unaffected during the main phase. If you blind going second against them it's not a big deal.

People dont understand how utterly insane this deck is now They got an extender from POT OF PROSPERITY that doesnt even use your normal summon. Not even snake eyes can use pot of prosperity like that. Battle fader? Transcend dragion begs to differ. Ghost Sister? Trident Dragion with 6000 atk doesnt give a damn. This deck will be insane, you better come well prepared when its at full power

if decks like this became prominent or if they make more decks like this battle handtraps like fader,swift, kuribo and gorz might became staple konami may errata all or some of those battle traps, magic cylinder, sakuretsu armor, all mirror traps, draining shield, waboku, defense draw, rainbow life etc. making them a handtrap like imperm.

Uh. No. Swift and Fader are the only good options of those, and the deck is able to prevent battle traps as a whole via Meteorburst and the Level 10.

@@strangevol5264 yeah agreed. those handtraps can be played around by summoning meteorburst and super dragon but those monsters are not turbo summoned, they synchro climb during battle, so swift and fader is more or less playable currently, battle traps are garbage can't deny it but you won't know maybe in the future, konami might errata those garbage imagine getting a mirror forced out of nowhere because konami makes it a handtrap

Going second against this deck isnt that bad. Ghost ogre really helps stop them, and using board breakers is pretty good against them. That said, the deck is a go second deck that actually does something and makes the battle phase very scary.

If I remember correctly, there is a way to skip the entire turn with the Sangan Kaihou and Thunder the Ruler. It skips the main phase 1 and without a battle phase, they cannot entre the main phase, meaning it goes straight to the end phase.

Konami really can't help themselves printing one toxic deck after another. Here we have another case of 15 one card starters that win you the game and room for 23 non-engine of your choice. But this time every monster is a towers or can't be interacted with in a meaningful way and for the cherry on top you get a searchable card that skips half your opponent's turn. Complaining about Tear sure was worth it because now we have this sh*t instead. Even Kashtira was more fun than this. Edit: and you can bet they are going to rarity bump the hell out of this deck

That's probably the new normal now... I think Konami wants the development of decks to evolve in that kind of direction. One card starters and enormous space for non engine. With that in mind... I also previously said that Tear was ahead of its time and it may be possible to bring back some previous meta decks to spice it up. Tear names to 2 and Kit to 1. And also Ariseheart to 1 to keep Tear in check and to challenge Snake Eyes. That would be something I'd like to see. I also didn't think it would happen that quick that we could talk about bringing Tear back... I thought it would take at least a few years. But interaction on the opponents turn would be a good option in my mind with decks like Snake Eyes and Tenpai in the upcoming format.

Regarding this: You can save your interactions for the Battle Phase. The MP1 skip is only meaningful if they have the Synchro 10 on the field. It is also easily side decked against, which cannot be demonstrated in a Bo1 video format. Simple as.
