This is the most information (in english) i could find in the tone of FA and being a diatonic. I will follow you and watch religiously to get better. Thank you for your time to make videos for the rest of us. A true legend.

This is good stuff. There isn't too many diatonic accordion tutorials that go over chords with diagrams. Excited to see more

It's good, not too slow and kept my attention to get through the vid. Plus chord scale exercises were refreshing, haven't found many vids like that, it took me a while to find out you can break the chords up into notes and jump around the scale like that.

I am very glad I found your channel. The longer your videos the better. I have this GCF style accrdion from my grandfather and promised to all my family members to play it one day. Just like he did when I was young. Much love from germany!

how does the third notes scale work? It doesn’t correspond with the simple note scale. I see you start it by playing 1 and 3 from the simple note scale and then play 4 and the note above it, i dont understand that

Hello I’m lost I bought a 31 button fa montanari how does this affect the scales because I see the one you have is a 34. Do I just move up or down a row?
@boton.official9 ай бұрын
It’s the same thing! You’re just missing the bottom 3 buttons. Some scales won’t be possible pulling out 100% due to the missing buttons but check my chart you’ll be able to do it pushing some of the missing buttons in

Howdy I’ve got a question about the borons. I’m left handed will button pattern stay the same?
@boton.official9 ай бұрын
Howdy 👋 This is a tricky situation.. I would suggest having your accordion reeds moved around to mirror / play the way a righty plays as the patterns are better fit for your hand and naturally have the lower end at the top and higher notes at the bottom etc Note that it shouldn’t cost much as all it is is popping reeds out and resetting them in different order you theoretically could achieve this with a soldering iron and beeswax and ensuring you position them like my charts / note per note BUT you can most definitely play without swapping anything although it might be challenging there’s no stopping you if you’d like. The accordionist from Los Tucanes nicknamed “Zurdo” (Lefty) in Spanish has definitely gone far (it’s Los Tucanes!) and plays lefty in a “right” handed accordion and it’s not impossible but it would make learning things a bit harder imo. This also opens you up to having a unique style (which can be a plus! / Like Zurdo) Cheers and always here for questions

Hello! There’s many ways to play the scale ! This scale is geared more for Norteño Mexican music where it’s more of a 80/20 percentage of pull / push ratio compared to polkas that are a 50/50 pull/push. This way exercises your whole hand including pinky which helps with speed and agility. In short, because the diatonic accordion has repeated notes, there’s many way to play the same scales at time.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/gKuYd3-pa7GXjpIsi=8kdxGZZFvc7A02FZ I just got my acordeón and was learning watching this guy. Is there a lot of difference in learning the scale or does it not even matter that much
@boton.official7 ай бұрын
Love Bigshow 🙌🏻 Just a bit different, but for better development I’d say play like my video since it focuses more on using your whole hand 🫱🏼🫲🏻 in actuality though it doesn’t matter as long as your play and practice!

@@boton.official cool bro thx you. Also, Im using the Hohner Panther Fa. Any other recommendations as far as learning? I have no idea what steps I should take, like learn scales then what?
@boton.official7 ай бұрын
@@InicialesCMB Yes! After you get comfortable with scales do a song. I have FA song examples as shorts but watch my next video (4th Position) and I go through a full song example so you can make sense of everything and how they each play a part 🫱🏼🫲🏻
