It's a massive shame Micaela Kelly got into Foul Trouble. This was going to an amazingly entertaining game! Awesome to see Molly playing before transferring to Iowa. She shot deeper in this Q than I've seen her entire time at Iowa?!

Iowa was incredibly fortunate to acquire Molly Davis in the portal. Equally amazing is how she changed her role to fit the needs of Iowa, being willing to be a back up to Clark and Marshall in the back court.

Once Kelly left, CMU went downhill massively. Molly isn't a number a #1 and it showed, possibly not even a volume scorer. Made sense Iowa went after her since they already scouted her and she fit thier style. Her Role is kinda the same. Less minutes but watching this game and a little of others (Hard to find full CMU games, especially the couple where Molly did great on her own). What she did at Iowa, attack, play make, crossover, bring a level of calm/IQ/Ball Handling, hustle on offense and defense, the shooting hasn't translated for some odd reason. I've heard it talked about in interviews. She got to spell Marshall which I think lets Marshall be fresher as the point of attack on Defender. I think it was a perfect match for Molly and Bluder. Molly got to move up a tier, play for a winner again, retaining that polish she developed. While Bluder got a #2 from a very very very good MAC Team where she got to play Robin to a Batman. Now serving that 6th Player role. You saw it in the NBA a ton in the late 00's-2010s. She has that Jason Terry, Barbosa lite vibe.
