sorry bud, it gets tougher as our body gets older. but daily rehab goes a long way. 20 dedicated minutes of many stretches helped me rehab my (not as bad as your injury of course) knee twist. God bless.

While racing up a hill I fell off my Suzuki RM 250 backwards 14' landed on my tailbone n broke it 45 yrs ago. On pain meds for life. It doesn't get better but I had a blast! Keep movin'!!

Yeah he got up instantly probably out of fear of getting killed by a bike… soon as he started moving you can tell he felt it. He made it just barely over track and sprawled out. Hope his recovery is going well. God Speed. Sucks to get taken away from doing the things you love, from circumstances you didn’t cause.. God Speed Buddy!

Same. After getting t-boned by a Dodge Durango that ran a red light, my back has never been the same. I AM fine but I got herniated discs and I can't lift heavy things anymore. I felt so demasculinized. I've also been in pain for years but I was able to reduce that pain with back extensions and resistance bands. They say that a car accident at 30 mph is equivalent to falling off a 9 story building. How about that reference?

Short story: Similar thing happened to me at the age of 11, doing a supercross race on the Seminole track in Flordia. I crashed due to the deep ruts while landing, my bike perfectly landed right on my upper neck making it almost impossible for me to get up. The flagger was on his phone playing a game, and the remaining riders took the jump without realizing I was at the end of it. Many riders landed around me but one landed right on my left side of my helmet. It broke the helmet inwards substantially to the point it broke my jaw in 3 places. I don't remember anything else but the flagger was sent to jail to my understanding. So it's really frustrating to see this type of crap again

Glad your safe now! It's terrible when negligent people are put in positions of safety, they of all people need to be alert & aware of their surroundings! Hoped this experience also taught employers to be more diligent in who they hire for such positions. (Though ideally they should have the foresight to do so before such an incident happens! Everyone ragging the guy for waving at the bottom of the hill - Because he just got up on the bottom of that hill after wrecking and the other rider is making a right hand turn. He could see the rider coming to the face of that jump/turn. If you haven’t rode before, don’t act like you know how this works! There should have been flaggers on that hill. It’s not his job to get up and warn other people not to hit him or his bike.

In this case. If you are the promoter, track official, rider, family of riders. You should foresee this blind jump as being a problem if someone crashes on the backside . Has to be a flagger warning of potential dangers. Injuries like this have to be avoided

This is the kind of the stuff that happens at public tracks that are open for practice but no flaggers. I've seen so many riders being hauled off by helicopters that you would think by now if the track doesn't have flaggers it shouldn't be open.....!👍🏁🤠 The track promotors should be held accountable for riders/racers safety, so if they can't afford them and or can't get them they shouldn't be holding a race or a practice day! ("Very sad but true!")😢
