The new place is wonderful! Not just an arena, a beautiful BIG arena.

Great place Shelby! I could watch you ride all day. I still haven't gotten another horse but it may be time.

Harlow has a very nice trot, she's such a beautiful mare. Those stretches look great! I think one of my favorite parts of riding lessons, back when I used to take them, was the end, where we let the reins loose and walked around the arena, letting them cool off and stretch their necks out (if I could loosen them that much without having to shorten them a bit again, some ponies were a bit too worked up to relax and walked fast enough to catch up to some other horses' butts). For some of the horses, I could pretty much let go of the reins and they'd follow the path. Fred was one, an old chestnut gelding with gray hairs in his coat.

Petition for Shelby to get a little mic to clip to her shirt so we can hear her while she's riding lol

Harlow is such a beautiful girl. So brave and you’ve done wonders with her. Is Simba the barn kitten from the other video? Also, I told my daughter about the headphones as she is extremely sensitive to sound. She doesn’t wear them all the time but every time she does- she finds whatever situation she is in much more comfortable.

Hi love your videos, is Harlow fully clicker trained to be ridden? Just curious:)
@Milestone-Equestrian12 сағат бұрын
I’m not sure what you mean by fully clicker trained. We use the clicker under saddle, yes, but she was a racehorse so no she was not clicker trained for her whole riding career.

@@Milestone-Equestrian yes I just meant like is she trained to be ridden with clicker training (with you currently)

Not sure if youd be willing to do a daybyday update. Totally understand if you dont. They bought a 13 yr old ( if they arent lying about the age) "cylde" cross harness horse. Ex cart horse, needs tons of training and bought her for sophie. She is using Finns saddle and laura refuses buy sophie a new saddle. They have had her since about may. Again tack that doesn't fit on a green horse that needs training.
