That push away in the air and still landed it and saved your face from 8s burn out epic ..hell of a bash n blast spot .fine driving skills I have to say.

Thx Wayne.. it was a brutal first outing for the outcast. Yeah that jump could have ended bad for me. These 8s rigs are massive so you have the hit the jumps perfect or it go off course easily. I still love my outcast and glad you enjoyed the vid. I'm currently just taking a break from the hobby.... got lots going on at the moment but will be back soon. So far I love the new electronics. Prefect size motor for this rig and look forward to my next bash with the big girl! Tahir

Great run. I loved my 8s Outcast so much had to get the 8s Kraton to go with it. Both epic big boys.

Lol! I had to do the same, too... nothing compares to sending these huge rigs! 🙂👌

Great vid Bro. Just ordered a K8s exb rtr and plenty of spares. On backorder till end of the month but looking forward to it but my bank account aint lol. Nice tunes too. Keep on Rollin 😊 PS: looks like could use some thicker centre diff fluid.

Thx buddy. I'm glad you enjoyed the vid. Bashing these big rigs is a blast. I'm sure your gona love your too! Yeh, stock they come with 20mil in the centre diff, but to stop the ballooning tyres, I think ears plugs are the way to go. I also recommend upgrading the A,B,C & D hinge pin blocks to aftermarket 7075 ones to avoid breaking loads of hinge pins. M2c and CRCU make good ones. Happy bashing! 👍👍

What do you prefer overall ? Like if you could only get one which one would you get as your go to ?

Tbh the outcast is my goto. It stunts well and can ride the wheelies long distances and is fast. The new rtr electronics are the perfect combination between power and weight increase imo. I enjoy jumping my rigs and always am excited when I know I'm gona take it out.

It seems like Arrma sorted out their plastic problem that’s for sure. I’m impressed Brother very nice. I just may have to pull the trigger on one of these.

It's definitely a fun rig. Well worth adding to your fleet. As long as you spray the plastics with wd40 they will take the punishment.
@twangogt10 ай бұрын
@@inspiredrcwhy WD-40? Never heard of this one before.
@inspiredrc10 ай бұрын
@twangogt the wd 40 helps keep the screws head rust free and sideshow make the plastics a little more flexible. I've always used it. It's worth looking into buddy👍

Between this and the xmaxx (with weaknesses addressed) which would you pick and why? Sick run
@inspiredrc11 ай бұрын
Tbh the outcast 8s exb rtr doesn't need much upgrades. It's fun out of the box with the speed pinion. The xmaxx needs alot of upgrades and so needs money spending on it including better wheels and tires. I feel the xmaxx is dated now. Once all is said and done. The outcast is faster and stable. The drive train is stronger. If your not used to big 8s trucks then I would start with the xmaxx. Its just more forgiving. You do have the land properly when jumping the outcast. The extra weight can cause carnage. Without any upgrades the outcast is way better than the xmaxx imo.👍
@smoothwookienookie591211 ай бұрын
@@inspiredrc sounds right, the outcast is a killer rig out of the box no doubt. The xmaxx does seem to float over rough terrain better than the 8s arrma's though. It doesn't turn well at all, but I've watched countless vids, and the xmaxx doesn't get tipped up as easily from rough spots or small rises, it just soaks it up. The outcast seems to bounce quite a bit more and can get tossed over its head. xmaxx being an actual monster truck, its ground clearance and suspension is unrivaled in rc still to this day IMO. Hopefully Traxxas updates the xmaxx or arrma makes ONE vehicle that actually has ground clearance. Even though the outcast is 100% higher quality, it doesn't seem like anything can absorb rough terrain like an xmaxx. Also the durability and dirt cheap parts, it's still a hard decision even with it being outdated! Ugh, sorry for the book. Appreciate the response!
@inspiredrc11 ай бұрын
@smoothwookienookie5912 your absolutely right. For longevity the xmaxx wins hands down. I own both. If I want to live on the edge then I would take the outcast out. If I just want an all terrain bash with minimal breakages I would take the xmaxx. Xmaxx parts and upgrades are widely available and usually cheap being plastic. Being lighter it's less stress on the car. Honestly the xrt is probably a better comparison to the outcast I feel. The xmaxx will always have a place in my fleet. 👍 its the little the get me.... I would like to see a sliding motor mount, rubber sealed bearings and a better servo and electronics, 2 piece stronger center drive shaft on any new versions.
@smoothwookienookie591211 ай бұрын
@@inspiredrc you put it great, very unbiased approach towards them both right there. Good insight for me and I appreciate it. If I go xmaxx I'm gonna get HD arms and captured hinge pins all the way around, and steel gears. Maybe that m2c chassis brace too... Basically try and make it as indestructible as possible. Something you really can't build towards with the weight of the outcast. Although it's an extremely durable truck as is. I'll digress for a second, but I gotta commend you on being able to type actual sentences and coherent English 😂 sounds dumb, but so many rc KZbinrs and commenters just type run on gibberish to the point I can't carry on and try to communicate with them lol. Seriously appreciate the effort you put into responding! Subbed!
