This is our first time hearing Limp Bizkit. Listening to Faith was quite the experience lol. It was shocking to say the least. We've never seen anything like this. What kind of music is this? Like how would you classify it? We're guessing it's some kind of rock?

I grew up in the late 80’s early 90’s. I always jammed in the car with my mom to 80’s hits during that time so I was well aware of the original song. I will never forget the time I needed a ride home from high school soccer practice and one of my teammates popped in a cd I had never seen or heard before. First song was this song right here and I absolutely LOVED it! For me this was the best LB song to be introduced to. I know a lot of peeps claim they never listened to them, but EVERYONE I knew (friends or not) listened to them and it was a great time to be alive

I was one of those people that tried out in Queens NY, MTV was there and you played for 40 seconds in front of the band and that was it. There were over 300 people there I was number 311. It was a crazy time and Fred Durst is not a nice dude. There were 2 lines, one for the contenstants and one for people that wanted autographs. He had a bunch of young girls show up in front of his bus and left with them. Not signing any autographs but the rest of the band stayed there and did.

Who suggested this as the first song? This is a cover from George Michael... If someone suggest "Behind Blue Eyes" as the second song.... just slap them, lol, it's a cover too. "Break Stuff", "Take A Look Around", "Boiler", "Nookie", "My Way", "It'll Be Ok", "Almost Over", "Lonely World", Nobody Like you" and some more.

As others have said this is a cover of George Michael. The album this song is off of is Three Dollar Bill, Y'all. Other great songs off that album are Pollution, Counterfeit, Stuck. They've got a few great albums... Significant Other, and Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water and the above mentioned $3 Bill Y'all. Other hits... Nookie, Break Stuff, Rearranged, N 2 Gether Now ft. Method Man, Rollin', Take A Look Around, My Way, Getcha Groove On ft. Xzibit and DJ Premier

This song is George Michael redone by limp bizkit. Anytime these guys sang live the crowds go crazy. There was a 3 day concert and it started to rain. No band wanted to perform but limp bizkit said F it and when they took the stage the crowd went crazy.

Look up 1998 family values tour. I was at the Hollywood bowl and it was limp Bizkit, ice cube, Rammstein and Korn. To date one of the most iconic hard rock tour

Thank you for that reaction! This was their breakout hit, so this was the first thing I heard. The fact that they made THAT out of a George Michael song instantly sold me. They fall in the Nu Metal genre. I played this entire CD ($3 Bill) until it wouldn't play anymore. Try Counterfeit for more in your face vibes.

I can't stop watching your videos, I love your honesty on how you view music. I feel the beat more when I know the meaning and to watch you both work this out together connects with me. Its also Fun to watch younger generations explore the older generations and try to understand us lol. Thank you.

It's funny how accurate you are. Even little things like being reminded of Nsync. Carson Daly was constantly forced to introduce Limp bizkit, korn, eminem along side Nsync, back street boys, britney, christina on TRL. Mudvayne and Slipknot in the top ten? Yeah we did that. 🤘

That was Jonathan Davis from Korn, him and Fred Durst are like brother in law's or something like that, there is actually a song Korn does featuring Fred Durst, i think it's called "all in the family"

Metallica/Korn/S.O.A.D. fan here. You guys NEED to listen to more Limp Bizkit on your channel!! This was a cover song of theirs, and such a tiny little sample of their talents as musicians, and their unique sound for the time period. Wes Borlin is a world renowned guitar player as far as his innovative style and powerful riffs. Add in the turn tables, and Fred Durst's rock/rap vocal delivery, and Limp Bizkit was a stand-out band in a big way during the late 90s - early 2000s. You guys would truly love them if you gave them more of a chance, I promise!

Also I suggest counterfeit as a limp bizkit song. I know more views here matter but based on what I've seen i think you appreciate a song for what it is. Break stuff is great but please listen to anything from their first album

I saw Limp Bizkit in 1998 with Korn on the Family Values Tour. They’re amazing live! And it is John Davis from Korn and Korn are the ones who discovered Limp Bizkit. The song is a cover of a George Michael pop song from the 80s. Limp Bizkit music is considered Nu Metal. They sing, rap and do metal!
