I've done a ton of homebrewing. Try to keep that carboy in a cool space while you ferment if possible around low 60s. One of the single biggest game changers for me when i was doing it. Might not be so bad with the hefe tho depending on what yeast that was. Look good so far!

I love all grain brewing. Malting your grains just gives it a better flavor. I also make mead and wine. Also hard cider.

It would be interesting to see the use of any of the Mrbeer refills and recipes being used, since they have so many offerings now. I also see how this kit itself(hardware) would be nice to have versus, the hardware Mrbeer includes, leaves a much to be desired( plastic keg) but they include bottles with their kits too so I guess its a bit of a trade off

well see if it effects anything It was cleaned very well before use but was not in the sanitizing solution...

I'm sure everyone has advice for you... You do you... But, once you cap those bottles and store to carbonate.. Make sure to keep them on or in.. something that wont leak! You may find all it takes to pop your bottles ( as in *pop*) is just a pinch too much of sugar. All just part of the fun.. Enjoy!! Cant wait to see how ya do!
