I was visiting friends in Scotland last year and asked if we could go to the Costco outside Edinburgh. I bought a few items while they looked around. They decided to join that day and shop there often. They travel frequently and realized they could use their card in any country that has a Costco, which made it even more of a bargain.

Fuel and lunch is the only thing that is worth it there. Also, I've always had to adjust color and backlight on my TV's. I like them really better than factory set. You can get them to look like that if you've got the same model.

You can use your membership in any Costco around the world, I recommend the fuel a lot cheaper near me Asda 136..9 Costco 129.9. Recommend going in at ten in the morning as eleven From then it gets crowded

Don’t forget to use your Costco card in the US! Fuel is often much cheaper at Costco. Have a great trip!

@@OneCouplesAdventure Watch out the UK card does NOT work in the USA... (tried 3 months back) But I did manage to harass someone else to scan their card to help me out.

We have Costco petrol/gas stations. The one in Edinburgh was always 3p a litre cheaper. The Costco app tells you the price of fuel in all their petrol stations. The app is really good. You can order cakes on it. Tells you where all Costco are in the UK. You can also order goods for delivery (UK is one of a few countries that offer delivery). You can check deals. In the UK, they've started rolling out digital membership, where your card is on your phone instead of constantly taking your card out at the entrance. Ps Makro is now Bookers

@@ScottPC We always ask one of the Costco attendants to swipe their card - quite a few of them have said that they’re used to doing this for years the Brits! If your credit/debit card won’t work at the pump, buy a gift card and use that - works like a treat!

There's soap dispensers that feed from those huge dishsoap bottles. They go under your sink and pump right to the top of your sink.

Funnily enough I went yesterday to Gateshead one for 1st time too. I had the hot dog with onions, forgot to put sauce on, was so busy. Happy 10th anniversary and have a fab trip.🎉

Hi, Happy 10th Anniversary. I love the costco vlog. This is my local costco only 20 mins away. We like the pizza . We usually go for the toilet roll, kitchen roll both Kirkland we have an ottoman and we store it all in that , also love the Ghiradelli brownie mix, will pick that up next time, M & Ms peanuts good for Christmas, Forest feast Brazil nuts with milk chocolate big bag there good value , good for Christmas. Love the Victoria sponge cake and carrot cake . Think I'll go next week . I love the Disney Halloween and Christmas decorations there probably out now. But I've had to ban myself from buying anymore , because I've literally got no more room, plus it's storing it, and I think my husband will kill me 😂😂😂 . Oh, and petrol is very good too, im really looking forward to the American trip safe travels x

WOW so much like some of the stores in Florida (Costco is in the USA) Just home from a 2 weeks cruise on Arvia we loved it but agree with your thoughts on the buffet

Watching your vlog in costco's, you were like children in a sweet shop !! Loved it.. Just to say kev you mentioned that you would like to try a Scandinavian/ baltic cruise. We go on the p and o britannia on 20th Sept for 2 weeks. Germany Finland, Estonia, Denmark and Sweden . Will let you know how it goes. Looking forward to your next adventures... Therese xxx

I get the brownies, they freeze really well too. I bag them up in 6’s. They also do a really lovely lemon drizzle cake, again which I slice and freeze. The UK peanut M&M’s aren’t the same in UK. I always either buy them when in US, or get some from aircrew who are on FB groups, who offer to get items when over there.

Yes, it is a bit odd in the UK. People in the US don’t know but only certain people can join Costco in the UK

I started watching before you went on a cruise and remember you saying you probably wouldn’t do a cruise then a few months later cruise after cruise. That’s me too but with everything else (I haven’t done a cruise but I know what to do after watching all your cruises). Love this Costco vlog, wanted to know if yours is any different from ours. Check to see if they have Hidden Valley dry ranch mix in yours, if you like ranch dressing (they are the original but only get the mix, their bottled is not good. You also can put a few tablespoons of dry in a flour mix for chicken or fish frying.

This was such a surprise...your Costco is wayyyy more expensive than ours. Most of the prices you quoted would be the same here number wise but in Canadian dollars which would be much cheaper. HOWEVER the fact that you can get Victoria sponges makes me so jealous...we sure can't get them here.., interesting video.🇨🇦

Costco bought the meat packing company that made the Costco foot long hotdogs so they could keep the price down. Kirkland brand is also sold in the meat section.

Check the gift card selection in the US (not sure if UK stores sells gift cards). Sometimes the selection is sparse, most $100 usd gift cards sell for $80. I just got a $60 Krispy Kreme card for $45

Mackro is British company that bookers brought out couple years ago only reason l because relative worked for mackro was poached by bookers before it was announced that they had brought marcko out

I made the mistake with the muffins. I get the blueberry muffins and when I get home I put most of them in the freezer. My store had tons of huge blueberry’s for sale so there were lots of them in the muffins. I had bought some at my local store and they had only 3 small blueberries in each one. I love Costco. I got the business card cuz I was getting enough money back to pay for the card a few times over and I don’t buy much. Unfortunately I didn’t know you get money back from the card and money back from just being a member. So with the little I bought I was getting around $400.

We were told by a salesman when buying a new TV to put it on You tube photos of countries and not the pre programmes in the store. That way you can see what your TV will actually look like.

Costco began in San Diego as Price Club in 1983, by Sol Price. They used to call out the five digit item numbers at the registers. It was crazy!

Happy anniversary! Costco musts - cookies! And you got the brownie mix it’s so good. The 2 bite brownies are lovely. The quesadillas are so good and Mac n cheese / lasagne. Pizza for my kids and hot dog and onions for me. My two love the mango smoothie too. Oh wait and the baked potatoes 😂🤦🏼‍♀️👏🏽

Good luck with a future of Diabetes. Everything you mention is either made with refined white flour or laden with sugar. Potatoes = starch = sugar = fatty liver. Cookies = a sugar bomb. ANY fruit smoothies = another sugar bomb. No wonder there is a proliferation of diabetes, liver disease, high blood pressure and obesity. The ONLY REAL food, is fatty red meat such as braising steak/ ribeye, fish such as mackerel/ sardines, chicken thighs/ legs, bacon, liver, pork belly, lamb shoulder, butter, cheese and eggs. Even vegetables are unhealthy even though you are told otherwise (causes inflammation) = oxalates.
