I can remember driving from Portsmouth, NH to Boston(60 miles) in my Dad’s 56 Beetle. I had 2 brothers and 2 sisters. My oldest brother sat back in the packageshelf. My mom had my little sister in her lap. We would go to the outdoor concert in Boston, visit book stores and hit the beach on the way home. This was some rime between 59 and 61 Obviously before mandatory car seats. All my brothers and sisters are still alive Since those days I’ve had a split window and a bay window. I’m looking for a Vanagon or Eurovan that I can buy after I get rid of my RV. Leaning toward a Bostig engine conversion. Live the VW Life

Great comprehensive coverage again guys, the first of many show videos I hope for 2019. 👍🏻👍🏻 On a separate note, how do your air cooled engines run in the heat of a Texas summer?

Personally in my daily bus, 1641 SP, with stock exhaust set up. I keep oil topped off both inside and in oil bath air cleaner. But I try to avoid long hauls/traffic in the afternoons and do most driving in the morning or at night. Haven't had many heat issues. Thank you for watching!

THE NEXT MORNING.......44 degrees.....ladies and gentlemen, we at vs life spare no expense when it comes to breakfast......there it is right there......non frosted.....nothing but the best ...(words of wisdom)= Dont worry about the date, they have a lot of preservatives in there. This is what powers us to do what we do "Alot of people do dope...........pop tarts!..../ I love this part of that video. Old vw's are hard to come by as are good friendships. In Volkswagen terminology you guys are a 23 window barndoor! Thanks for contributing to this hobby in such a positive manner!
