ive been wallbouncing since gears 2 and i consider myself very good among the top 20 wallbouncers, and ive tried alternate and ive noticed 2 things , 1st is that there is no advantage between the both and 2nd is that both take a certain skill, the timing that you need to pull off from the wall for the both are extremely different! default scheme is ideal for camera bouncers and alternate scheme is ideal for angle bouncing, this guy has one of the best and most consistent angle bounces!

on my old videos i was speaking about angular wallbouncing, which is possible on default and on alternate...the short clip on 1:11 or 1:44 shows angular bouncing and was done on default btw...but perpendicular bouncing like 1:53 or 2:42(wide spaces) is not possible on default...most of the stuff in the video is impossible on default

it won't work like in the video. gears 1 UE is like the OG game. wallbouncing wasn't a thing that much until gears 2 and gears 3 made it more possible for wallbouncing. get the third game it's sick and will also make it to the Backward compatibility game for the xbox one.

U can not do this in gears of war ue the bounce is diffrent u can not cancel bounces in gears 1 so it is impossible to do this u can still bounce but it is alot diffrent and alot harder in gears 1

I play on alternate and and I even LOOk at the cover I wanna bounce to but my character literally will not move even when I'm sure I'm close enough to bounce to it and it's not my controller cause I got a new one and still having the same problems and how do you get into matches with such good connection? every match I get into it's laggy as fuck and my body glitches when I try to wallbounce :(

Gears being a cover based shooter you can hold b and slide immediately to cover rapidly pressing it would allow to you bounce from cover to cover hence the wall bounce!

How i would change gow3 to make it the perfect game: 1. no stopping power 2. no active bonus for starting weopons 3. no sawed off/ no retro lancer 4.gib animations/gore like in gow1,2 5. smaller maps, a bit more cover( like the gow2 maps, not like in gow3 for example sandbar) 6.no grenade planting to walls + smaller explosion radius 7. fix evading: your hitbox should start moving while jumping and not after the whole animation is finished, same for wallbouncing 8.fix mantle kick or remove it 9.inks like in gow2 , area damage and no stun Your opinion about these changes? but you forgot kill stealer should be fixed to and totally agree on it more maps like raven down

a lot of people have this problem,you have to be very precise with the left stick movement,it's more difficult to grab walls on alternate my connection is bad 50% of the time because the matchmaking lets me play against americans or mexicans,it needs 2 or 3 searches till i find a playable lobby In alot of these clips my wallbounce is laggy and it would never look like that on my host,not sure how you can say my connection is "that good" when looking at stuff like 1:15 , 1:44 , 1:53 , etc
