Please donate to the Western Vancouver Island Industrial Heritage Society in order for them to repair two unsafe trestles along the route to the mill. It's been 5 years since it ran up to the mill because of poor track condition and the condition of the trestle along the way.

Very good news today. Excited for a 2100/250 steam up and 1361s progress! Is there any news on Western Marylands 734 and 1309?

New pistons are being made for 1309. Fundraising is still in progress on 734’s future rebuild. I guess progress on 734 will start when 1309 is back in service again, but we shall see.

@ sounds reasonable. I would think they would start work on 734 after 1309s work is complete. But the question is if they acquire 202 when would they begin work. Before 1309, after 1309, or after 1309 and 734

@@PrrProductions5550 WMSR has stated that 202 is currently in better condition than 734. So if I were them, the order I would go in to bring each engine back to service in order are 1309 (1st), 202 (2nd), and 734 (3rd).
