What is a Lycan Shepherd?
Answer: It is a new general purpose working breed in the early stages of development under the guidance of the 'Lycan Shepherd Project'. Puukko is from a F2 breeding in that process. The breeds currently being used in its development are Blue Bay Shepherd, working line German Shepherd and Malinois. The breed is still in the early foundation stage of development. The breed is intended to have the larger brain to body size ratio, superior problem solving ability, intelligence and long leg structure of a wolf with the working ability of a working line German Shepherd.

You can probably use a hair dryer if you’re nervous using the dryer. You can also get one of those mesh dryer bags to put the hat in and shut the bag in the dryer door so the hat is hanging from the door and isn’t tumbling in the dryer. Good options if you’re nervous about possibly damaging your cap.

I tried a hair dryer at 1st... it just smelt like it was burning it so I took my chances with the dryer... lol.

Great video, thanks. I've noticed depending on my hair a cap can feel tighter or looser so I end up swapping. This is great for keeping the same cap sized to fit

I bought a Boston Scally cap about ten years ago. It was supposed to be 100% wool but what I got was 100% acrylic. After that, I was done with them.

I’m impressed with Sterkowski. Have two flat caps from them now and they are excellent. Quality and prices are 👍🏻👍🏻 KZbin won’t let me include a link but a web search on Sterkowski should find them.

SO glad I found your video! I boiled my Pub and Aficionado caps yesterday and they fit like a dream now. I boiled for 5 minutes and then dried in the dryer for 45 minutes on 1 and an hour on the other. Checked them every 15 minutes. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Beautiful hats. Great ideas on how to shrink them especially. My dad owned some very good hats. My daughter for some weird reason called them "Duff caps" 😆 Maybe she heard "Jeff cap"? Alot of people are surprised to hear Philly had a huge factory for good hats. Stetson.😊 Thank you for sharing.

My Boston worker Scully cap came a day early and I love it . Problem is I think it’s a bit large. The cap is 100% cotton, I’m going to try what you showed on the video. Thanks Brother!

No, it was tap water.

Your absolutely right! My water is very hard. I was told to use distilled water to clean a spot on my couch made from my dog so it wouldn't make a water mark. I'm just want to be careful I don't ruin my Boston scally caps.

Yeah, if you have hard water used distilled water. Better to use it and not need it than the other way around. Better safe than sorry 👍🙂

Very good video I struggle with hats I have a small head xs or s custom made hats fit me I have had to fix many and the hot and cold method never thought of darts 👍🏼 thanks for sharing you maybe a dog channel but your a very wise person ♥️✌🏼

I have done it with several colored caps with no issue at all? I have other videos showing that. Did you squeeze the extra water out before putting into the dryer? @ maybe it was that particular dye. I will say it definitely didn’t fade and it shrunk so I call it a proven win. The dryer did clean up fine with the magic eraser. Thanks sir 🇺🇸

Great job on shrinking and shaping your caps. I’m still perfecting my shrinking process since some caps still feel baggy after the first round. But I really feel that’s attributed to the inconsistency with their sizing.
