How can you remember both the a320 and the 737 so detailed, being very different from each other, and not get their facts confused??

Does the speed bug also move with flap lever selection when OEI? You mention it’s only avail when AEO?

This discussion on auto acceleration only applies on a dual channel approach/go-around right?
@GigaBit-i2j Жыл бұрын
No. It also auto accelerates on a single channel manual flight.

When you get ALT AQR in a low altitude MA, lets say 2000ft, what does the speed window show you? 222kts or the actual speed when you got the ALT AQR?
@1stepprep Жыл бұрын
In the go around phase the ATHR will first command speed according to SRS and later "green dot". This question sounds like you've been studying the B737 :) ALT ACQ is a 737 mode and the auto throttle would maintain the speed at the time ALT ACQ engages. Not the case in an A320.

@@1stepprep So, lets say I go around with a MA of 2000. Just when we put flaps up the bug moves slowly towards the 222 kts which is the target speed with flaps up in a go around. But before the bug reaches the 222 knots target we get ALT ACQ. Would the speed window show opened 222 knots or the actual speed when the FMA showed ALT ACQ?
