Not gonna lie, I probably was just floating through life the last 25+ years. I haven’t felt alive like the last year when I started to train again. I mean really train. Like making Chadd proud by puking now and then. Down 40 pounds of fat. Up 10 pounds of muscle. Better late than never

It's your generation's fault. You're the ones who raised these kids to be indifferent about their physical health. These kids didn't raise themselves. Your generation hardly did any better, the obesity rate for seniors is ridiculous. That's not the newest generation's fault, it's YOUR generations fault. Y'all would have rather shoved packaged, chemical laden food into your and your kid's mouths and sat them in front of the TV than teach them proper diet and exercise. Stop trying to act like this is a new generation issue, your generation is just as lazy and obese, and y'all were the ones who failed your children. No one else. Stop trying to shift the blame.

I am so glad that you mentioned that people who think just because they own a gun they are good to go. Most of the guys I've met like that probably can't even walk up a hill without collapsing. Also, there is a big difference between having a lot of muscle and looking fit vs actually being fit. We put way too much value on looking vs being.

I ran cross country and track in high school. I eventually got good enough to run in college. But when I finished my race, I would stand in the chute at the finish line, and high five every runner who came through. I'm not sure why I started doing it. Now, I still give thumbs up and words of encouragement to people as I run.

I'm 57, dealing with a frozen shoulder and two post operative torn meniscus, so my goal is not to quit and deal with it and embrace the goodness of the suffering which by the looks of things, will be plenty. By the way, I enjoyed the premise behind the work out - all the soft and not ready bodies out there - I have no intention of ever becoming one of them. I'm new to your channel and appreciate your content immensely.@@1stphorm
