for everyone who's new to cross gene!!: 0:04 takuya (terada takuya) the guy in the surgery room with a black apple. he's the japanese member of the group and he was the original leader. he's a vocalist and face of the group and his voice is super SOFT AND NICE you might recognise him from the drama 'the lovers' or variety show 'abnormal summit'. he's usually quiet and shy (and probably always sleeping) but he always show affection for his members!! he's super tall like 188cm and he's the gorgeous gene. 0:17 sangmin (kim sangmin) the guy in the coffin. he's the rapper and lead dancer. but i have to say both him and casper are super great at dancing and doing cool hip hop stunts!! (overall i think the cross gene guys are best at those dance and stunts stuff). his personality is super bubbly and cheerful basically like the vitamin/sunshine of the group as people would say. he's the organic gene. 0:23 shin (shin wonho but pls call him by shin!!) the guy bleeding in the bathtub lmao. you'd probably recognise him as tae oh from the legend of the blue sea and he's also acted with suzy in big and had a cf with gdragon (cross gene loves big bang btw). most importantly he's the leader and vocalist and visual of criss gene!! but even though he's just a vocalist he has a super great voice (he sings the chorus btw.) he's basically super cute off screen and he's really touchy with his members and i guess he's a little 4D along with takuya and he loves elsa from frozen a lot lmao. he's the presh gene (fresh and precious which is exactly what he is) 0:30 seyoung (lee se-young) the guy on the tv. he's the main vocalist and the older member of the group!! his voice is super good just search up seyoung cross gene and i'm sure you'll find his singing clips. he wasn't a original member of the group but joined after JG (a chinese member and original maknae) left. he's completed his military service and talks about it a lot lmao. he's personality is kinda weird like he talks about weird things all the time but he's a pretty outspoken member in the group! he's a super underrated vocalist so please check him out. he's the miracle gene (literally). 1:15 casper (chu xiao xiang). chinese member of the group (can speak english too), main dancer and main rapper. as i mentioned previously he is talented in break dancing along with sangmin. you might not see him as much with cross gene bc he's always busy doing promotions in china :( and he's normally a quiet and cool person (literally talks very little in the group as you can see from interview.) but i believe it's not because they're not close it's really just his personality, he's the only cross gene member who has his on ig acc, casper2xs, and he's close friends with got7's jackson and he has an addiction to dabbing lmao. he's the wild chic gene. 1:42 yongseok. (kim yongseok) maknae of the group and are one of those traditional "devil maknae. he literally admitted that he's tried to let his hyung do things/pay for him because he's the maknae. very confident of himself esp in singing (he's the main vocalist too) and openly talks about dirty minded things in interviews LIKE ALL THE TIME. he's super noisy. mypace gene. (if you didn't know this is a popular japanese term for someone living in his own world, and does everything as his own pace.) this was long but hopefully i was an informative guide to knowing cross gene!! please support them as a candY i am super happy that they came back :"). as you might already know these boys are so underrated but i assure you that if you stan that you'll not get disappointed by how talented that are. the candY fandom is desperate in helping cross gene get their first #1 win, so please stream their mv (both on 1thek and their own official channel) and their song on melon too. :-) (despite all these bigger groups coming back) these guys even said themselves that they'll be super upset if this song isn't gonna be popular, because they have debuted around the same time as big groups like exo (no hate pls) and they're nowhere near them. i mean if you've literally been in this industry for 5 years without getting much recognition, i think it's fine for them to say smth like that. so please give a chance for cross gene they're literally one of the best groups out there.

I wish cross gene was really famous like nct or got7 but i at least want them at monsta x's level, bc although they havent gotten their first win, at least they get a lot of support from fans and recognition from the public. I dont exaggerate when i say that cross gene is one of the BEST & talented groups ive ever discovered since 4 years ago, and i know around 200 groups. yes, cross gene actually has member from 3 different countries. takuya (1:47) who is japanese, Casper ( 4:25 ) is chinese and the rest of the guys (Shin , Seyoung 4:20 , Yongseok 4:15 and Sangmin 4:47 ) are korean

Our favourite band is near to be disbanded. And you all can help us to save them. Cross Gene has debuted in 2012 and still has not won anything. It is 5 years already… Boys have sent us signals for some time already, but lately Yongseok told us directly “We will do everything so this album will not be our last”. The situation is really bad... Their contracts are near to expire and their company does not earn much, so they probably will not want to keep them together. When you add 2+2 it becomes clear that this comeback is their “to be or not to be”. They have prepared amazing comeback with ‘Black or White’. They worked really hard and the result is really impressive. But their comeback may be unseen because of bigger, more famous groups promoting right now. We are trying to do everything, what we can do: voting, streaming, tweeting. But there are not many of us. We gave up on school, work, life. But it is not enough, we are not able to make scores as good as we want them to be. What we must to do to save them? GIVE THEM FIRST PLACE IN THE MUSIC SHOW. Even one win is enough for us. We hope we are not asking for too much, just one win. They want to win so bad, we were close with ‘Noona you’ year ago and managed to give them 2nd place in The Show. This time they were 3rd in M Countdown and their ‘thank you message’ for fans made us crying. They were thankful, but their eyes are sad, because they are still not number 1, still can be disbanded...
