If you watch how she develops her childhood through being a singer, you'll see that when she was much younger she used to be very enthusiastic, happy and bubbly. As she aged she lost these characteristics and she mentions in a tv show that she doesn't want to express her feelings because she doesn't want anyone to know what she is truly feeling inside. You can tell that she was hurt a lot by the media and people throughout her years. So I can still to this day feel that her personality is a lot darker, calm and less bubbly than she used to be when she was young. I mean, I guess it's also to do with her being so skinny. She lost like 10kg (intentionally) and I hear that in general if people lose a lot of weight, their personalities tend become a lot less energetic and you know "depressed" like?

I mostly agree with what I have seen, yet for some reason, I have not found a mention of what I feel is most significant. The line that to me is the centerpiece of this song is a simple statement: "... still here". IU is "still here". Jieun (or Jigeum as is one of her nicknames) is "still here". If you have a ticket to one of her concerts, she will be on the stage in front of you. She is "still here".And "still here" is a huge understatement.
