The 06 is better imo. Just like the J5 burgundy. I was very disappointed when comparing the new pr with my og 06. Appreciate your reviews & comparison.

I like the shape on the 06 more Green is better on thd 24 but the orange on the 06 🔥

The old ones have more of that Gatorade look. Classic and Vintage. The 2024 though man, I think I like the green/olive portions better on them. The jumpman doesn't have the bootycheek going on so overall I'd say 2024 is an improvement.

The 2006 have a brown tint to them because they are old but they got the green on the 2024 the same as the 2006. I think the texture of the suede might be a little different because the 2024 looks like it has a scratched pattern

As much as I want the 06 I’m very glad they came retroed this year and I was able to cop a grail of mine. I know if I got the 06 I’d have to net and soleswap too.

As a wide footer I absolutely prefer the "24" J5’s wide toe box as it provides much better comfort and room for my feet. 💯

I agree the 06 pair looks better but the burgundy was the same 06 pair better but every shoe that has been retroed the og pair has darker shades olives burgundy burgundy 13 all different from og pairs

-I actually like the toebox shape change, looks alot "cleaner" -Wish they kept the upper the same color ... That brown really gave the shoe some beautiful contrast -Wish they kept the air jordan behind the tongue black instead of changing it to orange ... Once again fucking up the contrast -Like the matte on the soles .. the gloss looks "cheesy" .. cheesy like they're for kids not adults Conclusion: "Mildly annoyed but they didn't COMPLETELY ruin the shoe sooo I'm fwi 🤷🏾‍♂️"

Overall Nike did a good job with the burgundy and olives imo. They’ve been messing up the toe boxes for years now so if people using that as an excuse to not cop is just nonsense… I’ve seen some slimmer toe boxes on the 24 pair tho , so it may just be a hit or miss

‘06 shape is superior…wish they would’ve stayed true to the OG. Green is the same, but age has made the OG appear brown. I had the 2006 pair & sold in ‘18.

What makes the 06’ a better pair was the “olive” green around the midsoles and the silhouette having the mixed green with the brown. 2024 is all one color green they didn’t break the different tones of greens and you see the oranges changes inside the 06 and the outside, the 2024 pair doesn’t even look like real Jordan’s 😂
