That is the best update I have seen so far, the Bedrock was awefull for the earlier fishfarm after they have implemented the update for signs, with Banners it works as it should. Thank you so much.

4/11/2024 still works, but had to rebuild it from step one three times. It's a little fussy and may require you sleeping to 'establish' it. Tip, use white wool for the banner and some kind of eye searing dye in the ombré setting of your loom. You want to aim just where the white is turning into your chosen colour, I used light blue because it felt thematically appropriate. Exp gain is slow but steady. Could be useful for leveling fishermen to master level.

Dor those having issues with lava burning your loot of you wish you can just get rid of the lava and skip the steps of lava and the minecart, dig just 2 blocks down and place the hopper aiming at the cheat with your platform to atand on and thats it. Additional, iam in the center of the chest for fishing. You will still need to tap the use button when hearing a splash but your loot wont be burnt. (Doing a Sky Block playthrough and this is helpful to chill while you wait for other things to happen.) PS: almost forgot to add the Date so it can be legitimate March 26th 2024

Your hopper isn’t connected to the box, place a solid block as the block first so that it connects facing the correct direction then replace the block with a chest

Doesn't work. Set up the farm exactly and it did for a couple in-game days, now it fishes and gives exp but no loot at all not even fish.

If it’s not working (lava burning items) you have to get a fish bucket then put the fish in the water behind the chest

I know the hopper is connected as the minecart and things went into the chest, but nothing else will now that it's complete. Not sure what is wrong and I've made it multiple times to make.

only the rail should have gone into the chest, as you want the minecart to still be there. mine works just fine. so, if you didn't mean to say minecart, then I'm not sure what else is wrong,

If you want it to work faster catch a fish and name it so it won’t despawn and put it in the water. It makes it significantly faster

The lava is your automatic "gotcha!" trigger, so you don't need to push when something bites and you fishing rod won't loose durabilty.

I use with the best rod(luck of sea and lure) and I set it to a 12 second click.

To AFK This u need to set ur Delay to 60 Seconds. And the farm becomes fully AFK . !!!! It's great, I run a second account to just stand their and fish away . It's nice come back every hour or two and grab everything.

This is a waste of time. The xp doesnt accumulate well- at all. This isn’t good for anything other than view time and ad revenue for OP… Don’t waste your time like I did, please..
