We have a garage of a friend in Egypt with 3 Cressidas (78 - 85(mine) - 92) and 3 UZs (1UZ non-vvti, 3UZ 5-speed auto and 3UZ 6-speed auto). 1 hero working in parallel in 2 cars, his 78 is already done. Wish us luck with the bloody immobilizer!

true 255 lb pump will supply enough juice for qa supercharger but what about the hose size ?

You could be right. The NZ Road authority sometimes register cars wrong so could actually be a 1988 or just a rare 89. Doesn't really matter anymore anyway 😅🤘

Hi, yeah same cluster but it needs to be modified to get tacho to work or use a tacho driver

Hey guys did you end up changing the in/outlets on the radiator to match the 1uz? And did the radiator end up being enough cooling for when you're thrashing the car?

Yup changed the outlets to suit the 1UZ and havnt had any overheating issues but we do have 2 good fans with a shroud on the radiator.

Sump is a factory 1UZ sump from another car. Just got it second hand

Hey two questions, first one is what is the brake booster you ended up using? Second is what rad is that, is it from another car? Can't really hear it well in the video, links in descriptions for those items would be nice too.

The brake booster is from an SW20 MR2 I believe someone else I nthe comments found part numbers. The radiator is from an MX83 Cressida but the inlet and oulet had to be modified as they were smaller than the 1UZ ones
