Nice! im sitting in the 1400 bracket, we where playing 4vs4 arena, And them some guy using this tactic steam rolling the first oppenent at about 20min mark. i was baffled away, i only got 150 games on my account. so i was new to see that tactic. And now Viper, my favorit AOE dude showing off his skills. with the same tactic :D im so hype to try this haha. Keep it going. Skål fra Danmark!

Turks have historically mounted javeliner en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jereed called Jereed.(It's a sport also) I think that they should access Genitours directly. (Not based on a Berber ally). This would be fair and could be a good trash unit with Sipahi upgrade. I think they may consider this.

I had an arena match with chinese against turks. I knew he was gonna go all in imperial age so I kinda panicked. But then I just also went all in castle age and did forward stable, siege workshop and archery range and pushed with ram, knights and crossbow and he had nothing to defend.

works this one on open maps like arabia? i think, if you get some early damage, or if you have to defend some pressure and have to build some military early, you cant go fast imp an struggle a lot. any advices from experts?

It would be significantly more difficult in an open map. You'd have to hope your opponent is going for a castle age boom, as is typical in arena. It is certainly not as good on Arabia as it is on arena.

Hey Guys, I wanna get into the game but I'm a total mess regarding all the micromanagement you have to do in order to advance fast.. Is there a decent guide somewhere for a good hotkey setup, general tips on what to do/avoid? Thankful for any insight! :) Really enjoy watching these :D

Well its kinda hard to get a good "guide" which covers everything so let me write one for you real fast. 1. Watch Viper or Spirit of the law. They both have nice Guides on how to get fast into the next age or how to play certain classes. Also they make like good top 5 top 10 videos of the best classes bla bla. 1.1 Watch some videos on what good mods are, for example dissaapering tree textures. They are really usefull. 2. Play and start recognizing hotkeys. Maybe go against easy bots and only focus on econemy. Then next game try to focus on economy and walling your base off. Then next game try to focus Economy walling and getting and army, and so on. 3. If you wanna play Ranked, the easiest will be arena (Like in this video) cause you can only focus on economy without being scared off getting rushed. 4. Play, you will only get good with micromanagment and stuff the more you play and the more you watch good players do certain things.

Definitely download the build order Mod and the Hotkey mod so you can practice!! With Hotkeys, I like to make sure that I prioritize unit creation over upgrades. Those buildings you only go to 3-4 times a game shouldn’t be in an optimized spot (mining camp, lumber camp, etc). Also, being able to swap between buildings quickly is important, so don’t have upgrade hotkeys that overlap with buildings for the most part!

What about countering it with teutons fast imp crenellation with one castle?

Bombards will be banging at your walls before you can get enough stone to put up a castle, let alone get crenellations, if you divert villagers to stone to get it before then you're not gonna get imp fast enough. You could possibly do it if you dont get much gold or wood, but then what? Bombards will just reposition and hit somewhere else and you'll lack the eco for any answers. Don't forget crenellations is 600 food and 400 stone, it's very expensive for a non-offensive upgrade just to counter bombards which you can also do with knights+archers like theviper suggested.

There's always black forest, islands... Otherwise, even fast castle is actually dangerous in any open map, so fast imp really seems too greedy... That's why it should really be given a try :D
