1) For protecting your villagers, it's better to hit the Bell button in the Town Center (Alt+B I think), it automatically shelters all villagers nearby and when hit again, they all return to their previous job. 2) Could you please play some water map next time? We haven't seen any aquatic mythical units so far!

I loved this game, and am loving the remake!!! Tip: while making units hero’s for Atlanteans does boost their stats a bit and make them strong vs myth, it still makes them weak to human soldiers so I’d recommend keeping some of your infantry as human soldiers so they don’t take extra damage from enemy human units.

The Isis monuments can block the ability to cast god powers around them, I think that's a good counter to the teleportation at least for that faction. But anything that gives infinite of a resource is super strong. I think the greeks are a bit unstoppable in FFA with the plenty vaults giving infinite everything and then they can just get rid of their villagers and have all their pop on military. It's definitely a super late game thing though, so maybe the play is just to team up against them early on and prevent wonder age.

Seeing the Erebus map again brings back so many memories of LAN parties with friends. Really cool with Hades for RP reasons (and because he's one of the most defensive gods) and with Gaia cause you can turn this hellscape green.

another tip as well is I really think your sleeping on the relics they can be truly massive buffs and even when they might not seem to great for you it usually is for the opponent, denying boosts to the enemy is usually king especially in 1v1. for example the myth unit cooldown can be a definite game changer for norse fire, frost giants as those ability's are insta kills against units same with cyclops, and imagine centaur arrow spam getting an extra volley in the same time span so instead of 4 shots you'd get a 5th can be huge. so its usually worth it to just grab them (when its easy pickings), but a word of caution is to spread them out after your first temple! one of my go to strats used to be temple sniping between classical and heroic age when I've seen them get a bunch of relics usually cuts them at the knees when they rely on them to heavily and they have a hard time bouncing back if they took shortcuts because of things like the free favour/gold trickles etc.

I complained about more ffa to really showcase this game (since it's not the same game not gonna get drawn in by nostalgia). I complained about mods when there was no answer on them. This is nice, was not sure if anyone listened because 99% of engagement is squealing fanboys, I am really starting to think someone is listening. Maybe not to me, i think these are core issues for allot of casual players (only use that word because you can only ladder on so many games and you know it) that have been playing this game up to and including 2024. Got a sub if you keep them coming, i am tired of 1v1 content. There are so many games i can watch and so much info i can get from 1v1. Did they also tone down the armor impact sounds or am i getting paranoid, because i complained about that too. Next you are gonna tell me they put the original Athena voice back in

I'm interested in watching these but the FFA games just run far too long for me. Same reason why AOE4 introduced King Mode. I literally left to watch an entire Twitch stream of BG3, came back and the same FFA was still going.
