My first time properly doing some urban lure fishing for perch! Hi mate, just wondered if you could help me please? I know your a pike and perch professional 🤪 so I’m going to be using the Cheb rig for the first time next week. It’ll be a 2 gram Cheb weight set up with a weedless hook and a craw style bait. Now my question is do I use braid on the reel to a fluorocarbon leader? Or do I use Fluorocarbon on the reel straight through to the hook? If I use fluoro straight through to the hook it’s saves messing around tying leader knots but I’m not sure which is better. Advantages and disadvantages of both please? Thanks so much bud

I know your sponsored by l.m.a.b. now, are you only allowed to fish with their products? The jerkbaits are doing really well at the moment on private waters, I had fish jumping 3 foot out of the water for them yesterday. No big pike yet this year, am going to start dead baiting soon. Is there a way of dropshot fishing that you can reliably land pike with? I land about one in three pike but the buggers have a habit of biting the line.
