I have the problem with updating to new firmware, just won't do it. Always getting some errors, tried dip switches at different settings, different firmware versions, trough uart and wifi and still nothing. Contacted Betafpv but they have just terrible customer support and no help from them. When I connect tx to pc on the tx screen first I get that controller and ELRS 2.4G pic and after few seconds just goes to Wifi Update pic and stays like that... Tried everything, followed manual, watched all update videos on YT and just doesn't work.

I have been trying for about 6 hours to flash the update to elrs 3.0.1., so I understand this comment. I also have tried tried "dip switches at different settings, different firmware versions, through uart and wifi. It will allow flashing at v 2.5.1, and works well to control models. But it never will update, despite repeated attempts. It would help to know if anyone has been able to get it to update.

I have a Tx 1W that i can not flash because serial port times out...on serial port all I get is a repeated string of data with "Setting 2400MHz Mode" at end of data

I had followed the main stream and installed 3.3 and all I saw on the led screen is "no handset"...was not impressed

@@MadRC Yes tried the dip switches all i keep getting is target device is different, which strange because the ELRS page gives me the target device. A friend of mine is having the same issues on a different radio.

You have to update to 2.5 then do a file size firmware before 3.X

Had trouble getting the new module to fit my TX12, the pins didn't quite line up. Fitted my TX16s no problem.

Thanks for this. I really need to move to elrs. I fly spektrum and can easily out fly my radio link. I see you have the module in a tbs mambo. Tell me you're thoughts on this combo. I don't want to go to the TX16S, it's just to big. Thanks for the help.

Radiomaster TX12 is a smaller radio and you can fit the ELRS module to it. Getting it back off is a bit of a problem as its a very tight fit.

@@divingfalconfpv4602 I also have the betafpv flat antenna rx on my 4 inch. Watch Curry kitten review Video on KZbin about that flat antennna module a few days ago and then check the betafpv Homepage on that RX again. Its got range issues. I habe 3 flat antenna ones, two ceramic and now ordered the elrs T antenna ones. The T antenna module should have the best range.

@@chrisbee5481 I only have it on a whoop so I can't really check range lol.. but I wanted to throw on high gain patch to try test it. A few have mentioned it. Mr blunty and others

@@chrisbee5481 yea of course t-antenna does. It's outside the quad. Yeah on paper they said flat was only a lil worse but turned out to be a lot worse. Blunty was wondering if it's rx board or mounting issue . I have only flown indoors. It is blocked by fc and battery but I'm only 20meters away
