Nice video. My favorite grinder? I sometimes prefere comandante c40, sometimes zp6. On competition level i prefere zp6. My recipie: inverted, half of water, coffee, second part of water, stirr few times with aeropress spatula, after 1 min close, reverse, push gently up to 2 minutes. Temperature around 95. Grindsize? Albout 25 on C40. On zp6 around 5.0. On competition I prepared recipie where i used 14g at click 6.0 and 3g on 4.0 click. Sometimes i prefere more chocolate, switness and agitate more, other time i agitate less and it comes more drip like.

Wow, thx. So you are a pro Areopress barista. Why half water first? I didn’t want to over complicate the recipe for this test. Will have to try your recipes. Thx again.
@svistaq29079 ай бұрын
@@mycoffeeshow111nah, not barista, entuziast. With half of water first: that's Sławek Saran's idea. He believes attacking coffee from two sides makes extraction more efficient and instant. It also helps with coffee particles that sometimes residue on plunger. I like this idea and it helps reducing agitation if you want more drip like coffee.

@@mycoffeeshow111I can recommend also one more recipe. Make inverted, coffee first, pour half of water, stirr for few seconds, wait, at 1:00 pour rest of water, close Ap, ant push gently. It gives tastefull body with clear acidity for me.

Hands down, my favorite filter coffee grinder is the Comandante c40.

@@lrbrugby hi, not in terms of taste but usability is improved alot. 60sec to grind for espresso and easier to dial in. I have a full video about that.

I use c3 pro and I put it on 10 grinder degree for fine grind. It can can hold 18g and its fare enough for 250ml by the Aeropress. But the brew technique will play a rule here as well. 🎉

C3 is surprisingly good for the price.
@BensCoffeeRants8 ай бұрын
C40/60 doesn't seem very nice to use lol. Have you tested more with the c3. Maybe it needs seasoning before it opens up some grinders / burrs are like that. I really like my c2 for pour overs (doesn't seem to work well for espresso just takes forever to grind but its super fast coarse grinding) and I've ordered a c3 now to compare. Surprised the Normcore seems pretty nice!
@mycoffeeshow1118 ай бұрын
I’m not saying C3 is bad for the price but compared to the others it seems a bit worst. K Ultra is the only one I spent some time and effort to season but each (apart from Normcore) seen a fair bit of action already.
Well said. No idea what it means but sounds about right 😛

There are so many 1Zpresso it is difficult to keep up with them. Q Air should be a good entry level option. It’s body is mayof plastic but for that price you can’t go wrong. Don’t expect the same quality as K ultra for example and capacity is really low 15-20g
