A solid tip for pivot balls coming out from the A Arms is to drill a 3mm hole for a grub screw to lock the pivot ball threads in. Good luck and thank you for your in depth coverage of the e revo 2! All the best

When you do 10% camera by pulling it two screws out the inside of the tire wears out before the outside of the tire because it doesn't lay surface flat on the ground it is good for cornering but it is not good for whole shots and longevity of your tires it wears them out that's why they call all four wheel alignment alignment it is to align the wheels flat to the ground so you have much surface contact as you possibly can have 10% camera does run better cornering now

Using the shocks and tires to keep the car straight is what you need to do in drag racing lowering the front of the car putting more oil in the right and less in the left allows the car to power to the right but stay straight to the left this is how dragsters are set up so when you stomp the gas they do not pull to the right they drive in a straight line

Just FYI those control arms aren't actually an upgrade. They're exactly the same as the ones that come stock on the eRevo 2.0. Traxxas says their HD and it's confusing because they do make an HD upgraded arm for the X-Max but on the e-revo 2.0 it's the exact same arm.

Hey Trevis ! It's a year ago and we have snow again in Austria . I'm still driving the X Maxx with the green Arms and they do very good . They are stronger than the stock ones wich looked like a Banana after a year of bashing. So my question is : Are the E Revo Arms also stronger ? Now I have two E Revo 2.0 because I like the E Revo more than I thougt when I bought it for my son. One of them got the RPM Arms installed and they do also very well but I want the Traxxas orange ones because the Revo is Orange and I hope that looks so nice like it looks at your Green Monster. Thx for answering sorry again for my poor english and maybe I can send you more cool pics from bashing in the snow. Greetings from Austria(Europe) All the best René Hansmann
@upgradedrc36973 жыл бұрын
I honestly don't think they are any different than the color. They are supposed to be made from a better material that is stronger, but I don't see it. But. I haven't had any problems with them. And I am clearing 60 feet off my jumps and wreck a lot lol. They are definitely stiffer than the Rpms though. And YES, please post some pics in my group Upgraded Rc bashers crashers and crawlers. 😎👍

You're towing is pitched Wheels forward and in your wheels should be evenly spaced from front to back so the car doesn't go into a wobble cuz it makes the steering shake the back towed in one to two degrees which is flat straight 1/4 turn down it makes the wheels pull to center on the front they skip and jump I recommend running your tires the way that every car in the world gets put on a front end alignment machine it has all four tires put flat on the ground so there's no wobbling shaking or prematurely wearing your tires down tires are expensive one thing that I agree with though is running more shock oil in your right shock in a less in your left shock it allows the car to not pull to the right when doing wheelies or power starts if your car is always drifting try stiffening up the shop on the side it is drifting to it pushes it back to the other side
@paulsimons11642 жыл бұрын
Street racers run 10% to 20% camber so they can corner better and do drifts and donuts better but they also have to take the tire off of the rim and put the passenger side on the driver side in the driver side on the passenger side so the tire doesn't prematurely wear out you have to have it rebalanced when you do so therefore it's a costly timely issue and if you just run your tires flat when the surface you have breaking it doesn't skip because only half or 2/3 of the tires only touching the ground

Can anyone offer me some advice please. My e revo has a tendency to spin out much easier than any of my other vehicles. I checked/adjusted the toe and camber. Truck is mostly stock but do have duratrax 6 pack tires.
